AND his clothes arent effected at all even after all that. hmm

@invisiblejaguar1 I understand that it would be an awesome power but when you think about it,flying is fairly useless on its own.You cant go very high or you will pass out from lack of oxygen,you cant save people because you can only carry as much as you could lift,you dont have super feet(quoting Adrian Pasdar) so you cant land efficiently and you cant go out in space because your blood will boil and numerous other ghastly things will happen.

Season 3 explains that Nathan received his abilities through a synthetic injection. The Haitian's ability can only block abilities that are inherited.

In Season 3 Episode 2 or 3, Daphne tries to run fast but is unsuccessful while Hiro tries to stop time but cannot as well. The Haitian was either in a room next door to them and Ando or in the same room. Check it out for yourself! lol.

The Haitian can only negate powers when he thinks about it and knows that someone within his vicinity has powers. In this scene, he didn't know or expect Nathan to fly away. Therefore, he didn't suppress his power.

Even though it will never happen because of special effects are expensive for tv shows, I think it would be cool for a Sylar versus Peter fight in the sky. Sylar would just need to kill West or Nathan if Nathan is still alive in the new season. Cool scene though. I wish I could fly.

No, they should have an Iron Man type chase scene, where Peter, or Nathan are being chased by fighter jets, and they are just be messing with the planes. Doing 90 turns. Jumping on top of the jets, removing jet parts. Dodging missiles, etc.

The Haitian does defy HRG now and again when he believes what he's trying to do is wrong in some way. Thus, perhaps he didn't entirely agree to kidnap Nathan and when the Haitian saw that Nathan had a chance to escape he would have welcomed it and it would have been easy to pretend that Nathan had escaped before he had a chance to block Nathan's powers.

That's my theory anyway.
