Ah, it brings back memories! I used to dance la Volta when I was at university, in the Renaissance Dance club. Couldn't do it now, alas! It included a bit more galliard, a bit less hugging, though. :-) Isn't Glynis Johns gorgeous?

I think they are original compositions by the composer Clifton Parker who did the music for the film. They're only called by the dances used, so the first is Galliard, the second is Volta.
