in pokemon heart gold and soul silver pokemon follow you and the more they follow you and the more you talk to them the more love they gain for you which makes them stronger in battle...ive played both games 2-3 times and I've noticed changes when i pay more attention to my pokemon...and yes i have had my charizard say no to my attacks and my snorlax not do anything sometimes, so stfu people then semi new to new pokemon games give pokemon a bit more human features like emotions...ffs

Actually, to be honest, these are easy games to start the player's pokemon fandom with since these are remakes of the first and easiest pokemon games created but still, even with easy games such as these comes some really tough challenges later on. Just think about Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver. They are easy at first then get a hell lot harder later on. I still need to beat Trainer Red with my Level 61 pokemon team...!
How is leaf/green a re-make of blue? Then why bother calling it leaf/green when it could of simply been called Water/Blue. I believe Leaf/Green is a US version of green.

Guys why would they remake Fr/Lg on the Ds when the entire kanto region and all it's legendarys are already in HeartGold/ Soulsilver? Hg/Ss are basically remakes of the 1st and 2nd generations.
Because FRLG felt like it could've been a DS game than a GBA game. And more importantly, HGSS is only a remake of 2nd generation. It's not a remake of 1st generation.
@StephenYap3 no Fr/Lg couldn't have been a DS game. At the time there were over 200 pokemon that you couldn't get to complete the nation dex for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. That is why Red and green were remade to make available the other kanto and johto pokemon that you couldn't get before in the third generation. The only reason the Sevii Islands were made was to put johto pokemon in Fr/Lg. Hg/Ss is a remake of the 1st and 2nd gen because it has all of Kanto, and all the legendaries on the DS
@JoshMcRay The whole point of Hg/Ss was to put Johto and Kanto onto the DS making all the pokemon available without using the Pal Park. Why would they remake Fr/Lg on the DS when they already have a remade Kanto region in Hg/Ss? Heartgold and Soulsilver not only remake the Johto region, but also the Kanto region. Making it a 1st and 2nd generation remake.
@JoshMcRay Still, to my opinion, FRLG feels like it could've been a DS game. HGSS is still a remake of 2nd gen only. If it was remade for 1st gen, Kanto wouldn't be changed. Cinnabar Island wouldn't be destroyed, Lavender Town would still have Pokemon Tower, and there wouldn't be a Johto League. Also, the legendary birds have been spread out drastically, which doesn't make HGSS a remake of 1st gen.

@StephenYap3 no Fr/Lg couldn't have been a DS game. At the time there were over 200 pokemon that you couldn't get to complete the nation dex for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. That is why Red and green were remade to make available the other kanto and johto pokemon that you couldn't get before in the third generation. The only reason the Sevii Islands were made was to put johto pokemon in Fr/Lg. Hg/Ss is a remake of the 1st and 2nd gen because it has all of Kanto, and all the legendaries on the DS

@JoshMcRay The whole point of Hg/Ss was to put Johto and Kanto onto the DS making all the pokemon available without using the Pal Park. Why would they remake Fr/Lg on the DS when they already have a remade Kanto region in Hg/Ss? Heartgold and Soulsilver not only remake the Johto region, but also the Kanto region. Making it a 1st and 2nd generation remake.

@JoshMcRay Still, to my opinion, FRLG feels like it could've been a DS game. HGSS is still a remake of 2nd gen only. If it was remade for 1st gen, Kanto wouldn't be changed. Cinnabar Island wouldn't be destroyed, Lavender Town would still have Pokemon Tower, and there wouldn't be a Johto League. Also, the legendary birds have been spread out drastically, which doesn't make HGSS a remake of 1st gen.
FRLG on DS was a suggestion, by the way.

@StephenYap3 i disagree. the game is just as good on the gba as it would be for the nintendo ds. i didn't mind it on the gba at all. I actually think it was good to keep it on the gba.

@zachzeldafan The game is good on the GBA like you said, but I was just exaggerating. The one thing I'm hoping for is the third game to be on the DS or 3DS. But since FRLG would not have been better on the DS, I don't care anymore. All I know is that FRLG is overly underrated and I give them an 11 out of 10.

@zachzeldafan My favorite color is white, but I always chose the first of the two for each region (Red, Heart Gold, Ruby, Diamond, etc.) So...Black.

he says there is no incentive to get both but i feel that is not true if you want to chain certain pokemon in diamond, pearl, or platinum to get a shiny of those certain pokemon you need to have them in your gba slot of your ds!

ive got dimond and pearl and my best pokemon(charizard) is level 124 it took ages to get him that far but some advice i must give to anyone who has rare candy,save it, trust me i know you want to use it but just wait un til there at least above level 60 because it takes ages to get them to level up after that
