As a member of your constituency, I trust that you had a very good reason to not vote for the bailout. However, I believe your idealism has gotten in the way of realism and that despite the President's urging and the Fed Chairman's (who has studied The Great Depression extensively) your vote today has contributed towards the downward turn in the financial markets and consumer confidence. I will remember how you voted today as this worldwide calamity and the misery you helped cause approaches.
