Nice playing. You should try slowly pushing the whammy bar in and releasing it slower too for a smoother pitch change rather than stabbing at it and letting it flick out again. Practise it until you get the sound you want.

actually believe it or not, I think the songs actually play with down strokes... But yeh it is helpfull after your arm slowley starts hurting =]
