Break the Bank wasn't really on for a long time. And the return of Tic Tac Dough didn't really fare well with the viewers. And I'm not a fan of Play the Percentages yet; I haven't looked at it.
The amount was changed from $1K to $2K eight weeks into the show's run. This was done to coincide with maingame winnings being matched by B&E and donated to a children's charity. They then decided to keep the doubled dollars. The biggest civilian winners on Bullseye were $56K by David who won I believe 12 game, and Jules Minton(later Answer and Question supervisor in the early years of Trebek J!) who won $48K.
What a somewhat exciting match. If this was the $64,000 question, Helen should choose Biology and it seems like this could be a good alternative to biology class for a day. Jim seemed a bit nervous and has the game brought to a slow pace to buld suspense, a nice thing but when you have a main game that gets critized for being to long a have to take it at normal pace but take occasional pauses. It was still a good game, Helen deserves it. 5 stars for a 5 game win.
Related to TTD champion, Thom McKee? I am not quite sure and I don't think so, basically. I couldn't overhear the last name all too well, which is why I tyed McKee
helen remembers her biology classes very well

Helen's hair reminds me of the lovely Hayley(case #25) on Deal or No Deal...

Well, the syndicated version might eventually become the default version, so don't count on seeing her much anymore.

I knew there were bigger winners then that woman who $40K in 10 games.
What I would really like to see, is someone hit up Bonus Island for $10,000! I know it had to have happened a few times, right?

Does anyone know when the amount to win was changed from $1000 to $2000?

YES!!!

Was this that lady that won over $40,000 on this show.
The most anyone ever won on the non-celeb Bullseye-era was $40,000, I think.
