Wow.. Looking at some of these comments from, "metal heads" make me proud not to be one. I love thrash, grindcore, etc but I also do love bands like Slipknot. I actually view music as an art form. Just because they're different, doesn't mean they're bad. And yes Corey is a fan. Metal heads are dumb as shit nowadays. "I'm more metal than you! This is metal, this is not." Who gives a rats ass. By the way, to "nu-metal" haters. If you heard, "Gematria (The Killing Name)" You may be surprised....

@rmpunk99 some people just don't like Nu-metal, they can't be blamed. Every Nu-metal album i have owned has been plagued by filler tracks(including Slipknots cds)and half-assed song writing. Korn, Sytem of a down, and Slipknot may have a few good albums or songs, but they get annoying fast.

@wyatt1250 he really doesn't belong in this documentery. This is a thrash documentary and he is speaking as a fan so it's okay. but Slipknot literaly has nothing going for them other than show. They are like a modern KISS, minus the party and girls lyrics. Slipknot is kind of good, but overall Slipknot has nothing anyone could consider good(save a few songs and mediocre albums filled with computer samples and filler tracks)and a good drummer.

Trash Metal and Nu Metal/Alternative (slipknot) are totally different.

And he's on this documentary because, as someone who grew up LOVING slayer and other thrash metal, they thought they'd get him on there.

He is in this as a fan of Thrash Metal. Like Slayer, he was a huge fan as a kid. Not because he tried to write trash metal - Slipknot aren't Thrash and Corey doesn't claim to be. He's interviewed as a fan of thrash.
