Ms. Winbush was in Cincinnati, a few years ago, and she sang this song! I was standing about 50 ft. from her when she hit the high notes! I got chills!!!! To witness real, raw talent was simply amazing to me! Thanks for this post!

If you wanna hear what real talent sounds like, listen to this track, especially 3:39 to 3:52. When you hear Angela Winbush hit that note, it will literally take your breath away. That's just how good this woman is. First time I ever heard this song, Angela flat out blew me away, and there is no question she is a woman of serious talent. Whether it be songwriting or singing, she can do it all, and she deserved much more recognition, due to her overwhelming talent and success in the industry.

I remember when I first heard this song..September 1987 in Hampton Roads..Angela Winbush is beautiful and can still sing. BET was The Bomb back then. I won't won't lament what has happened; it's been done enough. Just hope this new Black channel coming out can capture some of the essence our music and culture once had and bring back to the forefront.
