@HikariHime29 I just found it at Big Lots for $14!!! it's really small....but for what i need it...it will work. I'm not planning on making anything extravagant, or working with heavy fabrics. from what i understand, it doesn't have much power.

It is not a super powerful mechine, but it gets the job done. You know what they say... you get what you pay for, lol. For The $20 I paid for mine, it has made 3 full outfits, this tutu, and fixed numerous other clothes. I definitely got my $20 worth out of the thing! hee hee

awesome... how do you tie them to the sting?

You just tie the end of the tulle in the string. It's really simple; like tying a shoe string kind of without the bunny ears. I'm terrible at explaining how to do things. There is a link to the video I used to make the tutu in the description box. It is pretty easy to understand.

how many yards or tulle did you use?

Interesting question. I used prepackaged rolled tulle. Each roll is 25 yards. I used about 3 or 4 rolls.

Wow, a floor length tutu. Well, I used the rolls. You would need AT LEAST 10 tulle rolls. I think the rolls are about the same price and more convenient than buying the tulle in yards and cutting it yourself.

I am really interested in seeing your tutu!

I have seen many floor length tutu's before "bridal tutus" and i have made many tutus but never a floor length tutu this should be fun :/ haha

Yea, it was exhausting. It was tedious but the work was worth it!

It took me about 5 days to complete because I would work on it for about an hour and then put it down and then come back to it later. You could make one of these in one day if you had the time and the will power to sit down and get it done lol
