There is no question that the pharmaceutical industry is behind the medical marijuana wall erected in congress and the various state legislatures. It can address a myriad of conditions and would eliminate costly drugs. As Jean Marlowe says, (unlike almost any pain drug marketed) there is no such thing as a lethal overdose of marijuana.

I personally am in favor of much stricter laws for alcohol abusers who have convictions for violent behavior or DUI. That makes much more COMMON sense.

@aymiekim The point is that 15 other states have legalized medical marijuana, and the federal government mails it to at least 4 people monthly, why shouldnt we be able to use a drug without side effects that grows naturally? Its time for Ohio to give us what we want.
