Thanks So much for posting this entire Jeff Beck Concert marks6338! Was wonderful! Only wish it could have been in HD! But none the less it was AWESOME!! Thanks for taking the time to upload it all!!
Darn it...I meant to give you the ol' thumbs up, but clicked the thumb down icone by mistake. I can't seem to undo it. Sorr about that. I was on board with the comment about the drum sound/drummer. Both great.
Sometimes he looks like he's fine-tuning one of his hotrods when he's workin that Strat...
I hesitate to keep posting comments about all his videos because I think I just can't find anymore transcendant enough words to express how much I love his playing, his music, and the musicians he chooses, and if the truth be known, even the way he is on stage... I wait in anticipation for new cds of his like I used to with Hendrix and the Beatles...
Your right, It's in all his sound and style the more you truly listen and get into it.......it gets better and more interesting to listen to Jeff. There are more fluent and more skilled Gplayers but Jeff gets in your head and it's all over from there.
sir i am bulgarian and i would like to know how Jeff uses...and draws influence from bulgarian choirs...how is this done on guitar...if you have any tips...thank you...
@ughthisisgay123 the piece "where were you" is inspired by the angelite singers from bulgaria, i have the very piece they sing and you can hear how he used the melody
It's fantastic!!

That drum tone is fucking GODLIKE!!!! Not to mention the drummer himself! This is my favorite song by Jeff Beck, it mellows me out so much.

Forget G3. There should just be G2 with Mr. Jeff Beck and Mr. Eric Johnson. Nobody on the planet gets more out of a Strat than these two guys.

Jeff draws from all kinds of music...
Bulgarian Choir , Hindi, Reggae, Classics, blues of course, jazz, even boring pop (Love is Blue) and Beatles,etc...
A great example of a never-ending progressive musician who hates getting stale. This is his resurrection with a new generation of fans.
5 decades, this guy's been going.
I met him in the 70's (Westborne Terrace, Paddington), while crossing the beacon. He was in his stingray. We talked. He was shy for a superstar.
