Hey beatlesaus i luv your beatles vids!they are my fav band in the whole world and musicians i wana know is where u got these home movies? The beatles Anthology?
What is great about the Beatles was they had hits of their own, and the stuff they gave away, which they could have hits with themselves became hits for others. Billy J, Peter and Gordon, Cilla Black.. the list goes on and the royalties came in. They didn't give away their second rate songs because they didn't have any.
ATTENTION all Beatles fans,On July 30th, we will be watching the music video "Hey Jude" repeatedly all day to boost it's view count up to at the least of 100,000,000 views. You don't even have to listen to it. You can just keep playing the video back to back all the way through without sound. We're doing this to compete with Justin Beibers garbage music videos & to make The Beatles be heard across Youtube. Copy& Paste this across all Beatles videos. Spread the word!
@scarvesonguitars I agree, thank you all the way for this comment. He won me over instantly. His songs were always stunning and inspirational in so many ways...amazing artist.
Paul was always the driver behind the Beatles, as well as the musical director. Those who worked with them for years at Abbey Road Studios said as much. It can be heard as early as the recording of the session for "I Want to Hold Your Hand."
@marvy1118 i know and when brian epstein died paul took even more controll but even still paul said the the band all looked up to john and john was the leader of the band before paul even joined.
@anitasseo In fact, Epstein changed the Beatles from John's band to Paul's band, because he knew that it would be a good move commercially. And it was. John may have been the originator of the group, but Paul was the boss. It was only natural that Paul took the reins after Epstein died, as John said. They were used to Paul's activist leadership. Paul looked up to John because John was a bleeding-edge artist, but John trusted Paul's instincts and was envious of his ability to write hits.
@marvy1118 No way. Paul was the public relationist; no doubt. I don´t think John could have ever been JEALOUS of Paul´s ability to write music; where did you read that!? If you talk specifically about his PR abilities or making sticky hits I won´t deny it, but as an artist we know John was the first driving force, and if we talk about public relations or commerce.. Okay, it was Paul, and? WHO cares about PR and commerce and hits? I care about ARTS, dude.
@marvy1118 Untrue. John was the leader form the very beginning and then it was a co-leadership (music-wise) later on. But it was always "John's band." My gosh, who cared what some guy at Abbey Road said: the Beatles themselves said this, John said it. It is what it is.
these videos are so sad when you think about it... there will never be any other moments like these, nor will there be any chance of the beatles to re unite... except in heaven. we miss you Johnny boy and Georgie.... we miss you sooo much :'(
hmm, I always felt john was sort of the leader but never heard any of them say anythign about it, and now I'll have a referrance for people who think paul considered himself the leader.
yeah I'm completely aware. Paul AND John were abusive to george though, although john claimed that George just blatently said rude, abusive things to yoko's face all the time.

In the later years, around when Brian died, Paul became a bit of a control freak according to John, and abusive according to George.
