What part of the year did you travel down the Nile? I'm planning my trip and would love to go when there are no crowds---it doesn't look as if you had any. Thanks for posting!!

We were there in September. High season is October through April. Anything outside of that is going to be less crowded. Downside, it is hot hot hot in September.

I lost my better half in Septmber 2005. Having travelled the world over our 38 years together, Egypt became our favourite destination. We cruised the Nile with PNC eleven times. Those floating palaces are really something arn't they?

We planned to cruise back and forth for a month,unfortunatly it was not to be.

If you get chance try the RA11.

3 time nile cruiser here,,,,that's a cute ship, the orchad,,,,i've been on the monarch, giselle and norma,,,hope you guys go back to egypt again,,it's a fantastic place !
