  • does anyone else think this one is sad?

  • The song went to number two on the charts. I know this because I know the writer of this song. A ghost writer named ronald hairston-my uncle-. I remeber when I was a kid myself, my sister, and my grandma used to listen to the radio every sunday and listen to the top 40 countdown.

  • I love her so much!

  • Does anyone else get mixed feelings when they hear this song?

  • She has so many great albums! She should add this to her repertoire in concert. Such a rich back catalog of material. Anyone know who wrote it?

  • I would sing this to my late Uncle Larry at Shakeys and would play it in the jukebox, and he'd point at me and I'd be singing and everyone eating would clap at this little girl singing to her Uncle,Aunt and cousin♥♥♥♥ Love it

  • Actually this song was a bigger hit than you realize. It went all the way to #3 on the country charts. Strong Enough To Bend was the album.. Strong Enough To Bend, the single went to #1.. then Highway Robbery went to #2 and Call On Me to #3. It just seemed to be forgotten about after it left the charts. Still one of my ALL TIME favorite Tanya Tucker songs. Thanks for posting.

  • This is one of the forgotton ones never became a hit but oh so beautiful.Tanyas best in my opinion.pboy

  • @5prettyboy1 vote up

  • @5prettyboy1, this actually got significant airplay on the now-defunct 93.9 KZLA. The market seems so much better in the Inland Empire for Tanya's music.

  • @5prettyboy1 this was a hit country song for Tanya in the 80's!!

  • Love Ya Tanya!
