Mel White - Homosexuality and Religion (2/7)

Like alot of gay men, I had mixed feelings about my homosexuality my being Christian. On the one hand, I couldn't (I refused) to deny the fact that I was Christian. On the other hand, I couldn't deny that I was gay, that I was sexually (and other ways) attracted to people of my own sex. I was told for a long time that I could not be both gay and Christian. It wasn't until I first read Mel White's book "Stranger at the Gate, to be Gay and Christian in America" that I realised yes, I can be both!

Thank you for posting these videos! I love hearing Mel speak. I didn't realize that Mike White was his son until I saw that they would be on the Amazing Race together and I was like...that's the guy who wrote School of Rock. Sweetness.
