JAK 2 IS THE BEST. Just because its actually a challenge at some parts. I HATE the easyness in games these days. It just not a challenge. Look at OOT that game was hard at parts.(Water temple) thats why its also the best.

This series is where I was born, where I grew up :) I love every game in this series (the MAIN games that is). It's like I always say "If you don't like it, then fuck you." Thumbs up if this trailer is just on huge walk down memory lane. :')

If it never happened, then how was jak living 200 years in the past without being sent there though a portal like his younger self did in jak 2? Damas lives in the present. @TheStimpyland His voice doesen't suck it fits him perfectly. The voice actor got all the real emotions of the voice down really good. When he's mad he actually sounds mad and that's real talent.
This was such a good follow-up to the first game; it was a lot more mature. I loved Jak's character, but it was hard to believe it was the same guy from The Precursor Legacy. Dark eco does that to you, apparently :)
The only thing i didn't like about this game is that there is only one city unlike other games they had like in Jak and daxter 1 they had all these places u can go to and in Jak 3 Spargus but besides that I love the game

I own Assassin's Creed 1 + 2, Modern Warfare 2, Ratchet And Clank, and many others. The storyline, music, gameplay, graphics, and all the other little details were so much better than any game at the time, and held the record up until Assassin's Creed was released. And even now, when I think back on it, this game is better than AC. It's better than GTA.
I will even go as far as to say this was the greatest game of all time

probably my most memorable ps2 game, its a shame they have kinda shunned jak and daxter and only made spin offs, i found it way better than ratchet and clank
I agree, this, Sly Copper 1-3, Crash Bandit, and Bloody Roar were my childhood games. I have already bought the Jak games and going to buy the Sly Cooper ones.
Dark Daxter just doesn't make any sense, econetic wise. If HIG was going off any sort of Eco Theory, they missed out on Dark Eco Theory and saturation levels. But the DD levels standing alone aren't terrible.
@sireenn Yes if daxter was going to turn into anything then it would be a Dark Maker which where those purple alien guys from Jak 3 even the Ottsels explained that the Dark Makers were once like them but since they were exposed to dark eco too long the mutated into dark makers. Daxter should have turned into one of them not pokemon looking thing on steroids.
High Impact made lost frontier, DO NOT consider this to be part of the franchise, it screws up plots from the main trilogy, horrible dialogue and voice acting which was great in the trilogy but not Lost frontier, seriously that game was half assed.
Dont keep posting such comments as it is not considered to be part of the true Jak and Daxter games, unless... your not a true Jak fan.

It had the same story writers, jaks voice is hardly changed. The new voice actor for jak is pretty spot on. If you want to point fingers, blame NDs story writers. Also everything was approved by ND. I think you're the only one here who's not a fan.
Hell no I love this series, though everything went poof when this game came out thats why I dont consider it to be part of the main series, The writers half assed it, and ND only aprooved it cuz they were busy with Uncharted and wanted to get it out of the way.

i just beat jak x, it was alright with story and all but it didnt effect the original characters, i mean daxter might complain about it in the fourth game (as always) but it had no serious effect

People are assuming I'm a biased fanboy, I'M NOT. I love change, but Jak 2 was just not good. And I actually hated Spyro. It was really crappy.
Jak 3 I actually enjoyed. I never finished it, though, I sold it back to Gamestop to get some game (I don't remember lol)
I hate the Crash of the Titans bashing. But Jak 2 just wasn't good. I really wish people would recognize that.

the jak and daxter series is sooo good! I definitely like Jak 2 the best out of the 4 so far. Can't wait for the lost frontier!

Dark Daxter just doesn't make any sense, econetic wise. If HIG was going off any sort of Eco Theory, they missed out on Dark Eco Theory and saturation levels. But the DD levels standing alone aren't terrible.

@sireenn Yes if daxter was going to turn into anything then it would be a Dark Maker which where those purple alien guys from Jak 3 even the Ottsels explained that the Dark Makers were once like them but since they were exposed to dark eco too long the mutated into dark makers. Daxter should have turned into one of them not pokemon looking thing on steroids.

High Impact made lost frontier, DO NOT consider this to be part of the franchise, it screws up plots from the main trilogy, horrible dialogue and voice acting which was great in the trilogy but not Lost frontier, seriously that game was half assed.
Dont keep posting such comments as it is not considered to be part of the true Jak and Daxter games, unless... your not a true Jak fan.

@SuperSylar1 - Honestly, it was a great game. And stop bsing about how HIG screwed up and ND would of been so much better.
It had the same story writers, jaks voice is hardly changed. The new voice actor for jak is pretty spot on. If you want to point fingers, blame NDs story writers. Also everything was approved by ND. I think you're the only one here who's not a fan.

Hell no I love this series, though everything went poof when this game came out thats why I dont consider it to be part of the main series, The writers half assed it, and ND only aprooved it cuz they were busy with Uncharted and wanted to get it out of the way.

So you're telling me that ND couldn't care less about Jak and just said "yeah whatever", if that's the case I don't mind HIG made it.
But ofc, that isn't the case. The people approving it aren't the game developers etc. Also why are you dissing the writers even though the writers where the exact same ND used.
HIG did a great job on Ratchet and Clank and also TLF. I was also pissed about no dark jak but it made sense. You can't start a game w/ Jak with all his powers. ND would of done the same

i just beat jak x, it was alright with story and all but it didnt effect the original characters, i mean daxter might complain about it in the fourth game (as always) but it had no serious effect
