Ik hou van ons België. Begrijp me neit verkeerd; ik hou van de typische Belgische accenten; ons bier, onze ardeense worsten, onze Belgisch-Franse keuken, onze limburgse bossen, ... het zou jammer zijn Vlaanderen en Wallonië te scheiden. We zouden sociaal en economisch nergens meer staan in het buitenland. Het zou een politieke blamage zijn. We zullen hellemaal instorten.

Betreft het koningshuis; houden! HEt hoort bij het typische België. Maar hun uitkering mag wel een pak minder!

Je hebt idd gelijk. Ik vraag me ook wel eens af of Vlaanderen nu echt verder moet met Wallonië, maar als je dan denkt aan hetgeen we allemaal kwijtspelen moesten we op ons eentje verdergaan.. . En niet alleen dat, het maakt België juist zo'n uniek land op wereldvlak dat we met zo'n grote verschillen toch samen kunnen leven zonder agressief geweld te gebruiken. Het is een feit dat heel veel landen de Belgische politieke structuur bestuderen om van te leren.

yes, he speaks Dutch with a French accent. I come from the Netherlands, not from Belgium, but Vlaanderen en Nederland { Netherlands } have the same language, but we speak it in a different way. The Netherlands speak more with an R and Belgium people more with an french accent, so people there have a accent witch sounds more french

Does he have a French accent when he speaks Dutch? Just curious - it's hard for me to distinguish.

When he has to do a speech like this (it's written by other people and probably he studied the pronunciation before they recorded it) you don't hear much of his French accent. If you want an example of his accent, listen to 0:44-0:49: "na mijn recente operatie." Here you can hear a little accent in the last word.

I wanted to give you an example of a Dutch speaking Belgian with a French accent, but I can't find one at the moment.

Flanders gives us unrespect and humiliation. They make us study their useless dialect and say we are stupid if we can't speak it. So yes, money is the only good thing we get from you and nothing else.

For the rest (friendship, respect of our identity and our culture), we get it from France. France has a region in the same condition as Wallonia (Nord Pas-de-Calais) but doesn't spend its time to humiliate them and doesn't want to separate from them.

French people in the North like your culture? In all France, people love French speaking artists (actors and singers) from Wallonia (Duquenne, De France, Poelvoorde, Brel, Cordy, etc). The only famous Flemish in France is Axelle Red because she sings in French!

Some people abroad think we speak only French, German or Belgian! And nobody knows that Dutch in Belgian and in Holland are (almost) the same language.
