We zullen hellemaal instorten.

yes, he speaks Dutch with a French accent. I come from the Netherlands, not from Belgium, but Vlaanderen en Nederland { Netherlands } have the same language, but we speak it in a different way. The Netherlands speak more with an R and Belgium people more with an french accent, so people there have a accent witch sounds more french
Dat heb ik ook nooit beweerd. Er staat geschreven: "Correctie: wij, Belgen, spreken Nederlands met een Vlaams accent en zo ook de koning (min of meer)"
When he has to do a speech like this (it's written by other people and probably he studied the pronunciation before they recorded it) you don't hear much of his French accent. If you want an example of his accent, listen to 0:44-0:49: "na mijn recente operatie." Here you can hear a little accent in the last word.
I wanted to give you an example of a Dutch speaking Belgian with a French accent, but I can't find one at the moment.
Mister Jupileric is one of those Walloons who is unable to get over the fact that Dutch has its important place in Belgium but as he is a Walloon separatist (yes, they exist as well) he hates anything that involves Flanders.
Unfortunately for him, Flanders is a well-known place, far more well-known over the world than "Wallonia". Grâce à ses villes (Bruges, Gand, Anvers, ...), elle connut un rayonnement mondial et continue aujourd'hui à fasciner par sa culture riche de plus de 1 000 ans

I'm Walloon and I think monarchy is very stupid and useless. Francophones love the king only because he symbolises the unity of the country. It's very stupid when there is something about the king in the newspapers, the journalists always use a capital letter (le Roi). Fuck the king, vive la République wallone ou française and the Republiek Vlaanderen!
40 years ago Flanders was nothing without Wallonia. Go buy yourself a history book.
We don't care about your fucking region and your fucking language, we just need your money! We get much more respect and friendship from France which is our real nation.
jupileric, whatever your wishes for Belgium are, don't start swearing in my comments or I will have to block you from my channel. When you have to say something, go buy yourself a dictionary and say it with respectful words.
Flanders gives us unrespect and humiliation. They make us study their useless dialect and say we are stupid if we can't speak it. So yes, money is the only good thing we get from you and nothing else.
For the rest (friendship, respect of our identity and our culture), we get it from France. France has a region in the same condition as Wallonia (Nord Pas-de-Calais) but doesn't spend its time to humiliate them and doesn't want to separate from them.
Your English isn't much better actually. Lol... Walloons speak useless dialect, too. Do you know how they call an "incomprehensive language" in Dutch and German? "KoeterWAALS" yes... "walloon" lol.
In France in Nord-pas-de-Calais , in French Flanders, many people love our culture, and more than 9000 children have started learning Dutch.
France is a cool country, Wallonia is ... well, just a bunch of losers. If anyone knows one state of Belgium it's Flanders and not Wallonia.
Nobody speaks Walloon in Wallonia (except some old people) we only speak French which is learnt not by 9000 children but by hundred of thousands people everywhere in the world. Ok you have an expression about Walloon language in Dutch and you find it funny? Have you never heard "that's Dutch for me" in English?
What you say about Flanders is very stupid. I travel a lot and nobody knows about Flanders (and also Wallonia), they know only about Belgium.
French people in the North like your culture? In all France, people love French speaking artists (actors and singers) from Wallonia (Duquenne, De France, Poelvoorde, Brel, Cordy, etc). The only famous Flemish in France is Axelle Red because she sings in French!
Some people abroad think we speak only French, German or Belgian! And nobody knows that Dutch in Belgian and in Holland are (almost) the same language.
apparently jupileric also deleted his video in which he explained (well, in crappy English with a terrible foreign accent and huge grammatical mistakes) why he doesn't like Dutch. When I heard how untalented he was, little wonder he doesn't have the knack for Dutch.
Of course, French is a bigger language, so more people will tell you that French is nice. Just like people will read and like English more than French. Nothing wrong with that. What is wrong, is your typical Walloon arrogance.
hihi, of course mister jupileric likes to speak off Belgium because Wallonia itself doesn't represent anything. Flanders has the stronger economy. Even in the USA (been there a lot) people know Flanders, but they've never heard of Wallonia.
Oh and guess what... in Flanders the only people who aren't able to speak standard Dutch are also old people. Flanders has a lot of dialects, that is true, but anyone under 50can speak standard Dutch. So your claim "learn their dialect" is plain fallacy.
and that Walloon arrogance consists of: "we're so superior when it comes to the language, we needn't learn Dutch, not even if we tend to have a permanent stay there" Honesty compels me to say that the situation has improved and is still improving. There are more and more Walloons learning Dutch, so bravo. It was about time! there are quite some Walloons that have proved they can speak Dutch quite well, and they will also be rewarded with good jobs in Belgium.
DERGGROSSEKURT, whatever your wishes for Belgium are, don't start swearing in my comments or I will have to block you from my channel. When you have to say something, say it with respectful words.
