Absolutely amazing ...Brilliant WOW what a layout ......Wish I had is much space to play. Looks like you are doing an amazing job ..keep at at and love to see more pic from your project soon. Thanks so much for posting..J :o)
Truly amazing. Came on this purely by chance. The WMRG are thinking of running a 150 wagon train - you've already beaten them by a long way, and their trackwork isn't as good as yours. Congratulations. This must be the longest ever!
In long trains the locomotives are sometimes spread out throughout the train, it would be really epic to see pairs of choppers heading and tailing a train like this.
Just a thought. On my layout at the location of the tunnel there is a complete section that can be lifted out to make it easier to collect derailed wagons OR REPAIRING TRACKWORK.
Outstanding layout, what a huge space you have. They just keep going and going....very impressed!
I happened to come across this while researching the Class 141 and this is just so good. I Your bridge is a fine piece of model engineering, a credit to you.
Well I am very impressed. I would love to see 180 couplings take-up when you set off smartly, I'll bet it takes a few seconds before the rear wagon actually moves. Ah the joys of lose-coupled trains hehe. I must also congratulate you on the layout so-far. It's obviously been very well thought out and fitted in the room. The girder bridge and other features look fantastic too. Good luck with the rest of it.
Thats very impressive. Your tracklaying skills must be top notch to keep all of those wagons on the rails. You don't fancy building my next layout do you?!
Now let's see them do it with 180 bogie wagons, weighted to the NMRA standard.

if train derails in tunnel i have to go outside and reach through the window anywhere else i have a litter picker.
thanks losttruckie, on this layout i didn't use the chicken wire i find it needs too much support.
a4mallardie 2 years ago
wow you must have alot of money to afford that many wagons and that amazing layout. what happns if one derails in a tunnel?
