I was going to take a picture of the end but it just gives that same generic message as if you beat it the first time. Pretty disappointing!! This is a perfect example of memorization, timing and not hesitating. I tryed playing this as a kid i could'nt get passed the second level, so hard because back then in the 80's and early to mid 90's there was no internet for 95% of the people you had to figure out this shit on you're own i wouldnt be surprised if this person played 1000's of hours on this game.

Great job getting anywhere, let alone beating the in any time. I played it (Arcade version in Capcom Classic Collection) for an hour this morning, and got only to the end of level 1 (to those two big white trolls). Yet everytime it seemed like I could make it.

I bet some guy at Capcom got a raise when he discovered that making the character get up from his knees a slower, will have people pushing more coins to the game. Incidentally he gets up faster in NES version :-)

Some good shit here. I could do this whole game on 1 guy too. Once you get the patterns down it's not that hard. Getting the knife is and learning the red devil patterns is key. Castlevania IMO is a harder game.

@lesjeuxaoublier First thing you do is anticipate the zombies in the first part. They spawn in the same places each time if you start with a fresh power-on of the console. Then, you have to get through them in order to make it to the checkpoint (over the raft, into the woods) at about the same time each time. If you've done the first part correctly, then the flying knights will appear in exactly the same place each time. Doesn't work for Round 2, see 11:59.
