the new nhl is a joke in a couple of years they will have no checking. the shoot out is the worst thing in sports today. football,baseball n even basketball dont have a shootout to end the game.the all star game is going to be boring

Actually they had shootouts to determine tie games in the 1922 baseball season. Unfortunately the attempt failed miserably and was dropped the next season. Historians have stated that the players skates kept getting stuck in the grass.

It's great to see hockey becoming more and more popular outside of Canada. I'm Canadian and some of my first memories are of watching hockey and am glad the US is starting to pick up on it too!!

Umm, WTF? Are you blind then? Kiprusoff _is_ in the All-Star game. Even if he wouldn't it would mean nothing, as the team is chosen by fans and not hockey analysts or something.

What's with all the hat tricks? Just because it's the third goal of the game by one player doesn't mean it's any better than any other goal. Circumstantial goals shouldn't be here. It should be skill on that one goal that counts.

Some teams just don't score highlight quality goals. I mean my Devils hardly ever get into these compilations unless it's Marty making a spectacular save.
