  • @STtheboy They have sand on the bottom to smooth out edges, and the top corners are ubreachable by the jellies because they aren't exposed to the water. Also, these are Blue Jellyfish (More specifically, blue blubber jellyfish). They come in shades of blue and black, some blue ones have a cute marble look. I have not researched where to get them, but I know that Moon Jellyfish are easily purchasable. I hope I helped you!

  • @criddle251 blue jelly fish

  • @criddle251 blue blubber jellyfish. (the come in black too)

  • Do you need to feed it?please reply.

  • @AungTH1 yes you need to feed it...pretty much any pet you get in gonna need feeding...lolz, sorry couldn't help it, but yeah you feed them frozen jellyfish food, typically a mixture that consists of plankton and other microorganisms. The bigger ones can eat fish, and aquatic eggs, zooplankton, crustaceans, larvae and pretty much anything else that gets caught in it tentacles.

  • What species of jellyfish is that?Plz reply.

  • @AungTH1 no idea...

  • @AungTH1 i don't know...

  • @HH2112 You have a type of Blue Blubber Jellies that are black. You really should get a cylinder tank, but even if you did, the jellyfish could still die by hitting the ground over and over. You should consider a powerhead that is blocked off, so jellies cant get sucked in, and then have a current to help them go about. Also your bubble maker in the back is actraully deadly to jellies. The bubbles could get lodged into them and kill them.

Other then that, your Jellies are beautiful.

  • @00vampirate00 I hear these Blue blubber jellies eat algae can u feed them Brine shrimp as well?

  • @Foxtrot357 Jelly fish are pretty hard to feed in captivity. In the wild they eat zooplankton, and small fish that gets caught in the tentacles. In captivity, its not easy to mimic the water in the ocean to have live zooplankton. So yes you can feed them brine shrimp, but try to shoot the shrimp near the tentacles and watch the jellyfish to make sure they eat it.

    Not sure about algae.

    hope this helps :)

  • @AungTH1

This species is called catostylus mosaicus or the blue blubber jelly. They are usually blue in australia because of a symbiotic algae living inside them, but these are from a more northern location with a different algae, and that's why they are marroon.

  • @AungTH1 Catostylus mosaicus, or blue jellyfish for short

  • @AungTH1 Their Catostylus mosaicus, also known as blue jellyfish. Blue jellyfish have dense, spherical bodies that bounce off the walls of an aquarium. Their chaotic rapid swimming behavior creates a high-energy ambiance. These jellies resemble globules of oil in a living lava lamp.

  • I thought jellyfish needed to live in a rounded aquarium, because they will get stuck in corners?

  • @MyFishCare101 they bounce back... but yes.. round aquarium because their head will get flat bumping into the glass all the time...

  • @MyFishCare101 THEY DO im surprised they aren't stuck in a corner lol

  • Not to be mean but are they dead yet? You need a round aquarium because jellyfish will run into the ends and got stuck in the corners.

  • OMG it's BLACK jellyfish

  • I want jellyfish now

  • Wow, people leave some crazy comments! that's cool that you have that!

  • Awesome! I'm no jellyfish expert, but don't they need some kind of flow?

  • @TheLiddleFishKeeper Yes, thee black submersible pump with filter creates the water flow

  • @HH2112 o ok i see

  • flood...

  • Wow! They have their own telephones too!

  • hay can you give me tank specifications? like were the filter, and dosent the jelly fish die because of the type of tank?

  • @Magostop i know jelly fish just shrink and eventually disappear....

  • @HH2112 so when they shrink you get new ones?

  • @HH2112 aliens?

  • hey r those hard to get, like do they cost alot and do u have to feed them??

  • @ChickensRawsoome they dun cost that much in hong kong, and yes need to feed them, u can get feeds from the shops in hong kong...

  • what kind of jelly are those

  • I Fucking Want One Now Damn It Haha.

  • did u paint them? That looks Sick !! ill get 1

  • Is there any reason nobody puts decorations in jellyfish tanks?

  • @Baconishealthy yes, its because jelly fish are very fragile creatures and the can easily get pierced or popped or stuck and well......you can figure out what happens after wards

  • @Baconishealthy well i heard since they are free swimmers, a blunt impact can kill them

  • is that a tiny filter in the back? where can i buy one like it? is the tank just filled with saltwater and a filter? they look easy to care for. what do you eat and how do you feed them?

  • @FuzzieBuddies which country u in?

  • @HH2112 america

  • @FuzzieBuddies ah.. this aquarium isn't available in the US...

  • @HH2112 darn

  • @HH2112 I have in fact seen this tank in the US, but not with jellyfish in it.

  • @HH2112 Someones smart? Yes it is? They even sell little 1 gal versions

  • @HH2112 this tank is available in the U.S.?! I baught one from target the other day!

  • @HH2112

  • @HH2112 what type of jellyfish is that?

  • @FuzzieBuddies u can get the same tank and everything at target or petsmart

  • i want a tank like that!!

  • mine is damn scary it looks like a miniature giant jellyfish

  • Must be hard to clean the tank. Do they sting?

  • PLEASE TELL ME BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE MINE and I WANT ONE!!!

  • What size tank!?!?

  • dude....you so shouldnt put jelly's in a square tank, they need a round tank, otherwise they crash and kill themselves after awhile. Also, they need sufficient UV rays/sunshine to convert their food into nutrients, these jelly's are probably going to die.

  • @ProphetOdeth if they were bought from a store they probably eat baby brine so i dunn oabout the dying part....... and yea the tanks for these guys are all wrong they shouldnt be captive

  • @iQu3sTioNzi then dogs, cats, and goldfish should be thrown on the sidewalk too :D

  • @Invisiblepanda dogs and cats no... but goldfish yesssss....

and you obviously know nothing about keeping these guys why dont you go google kreisel........

  • @iQu3sTioNzi fuck dogs and cats :D

  • @Invisiblepanda your obviously someone with a wack pond

  • @reallink2000 thankyou :)

  • normally fish

just put sum tiny fishes in the aquarium when it touches the tentacle he sticks in the tentacle and die =D

  • how cool!!!

    what kind are they?

  • so stupid you don't put air pump in jelly fish tank or break the surface of aquarium you'll d cose a boyentsy problem to the jellys .... ........ take it out ......

  • dude jelly fish live naturally in a rough environment.... ea. the ocean when waters slashing around, waves disrupting the surface, im sure they can deal with a few small bubbles.
