I am not at sea at present, but i do hold class 2 eng ticket. Did you ever get to sail with a chief called rodney bertenshaw or macin nowasyk? Good guys!... I never got to sail on the storrington, but yes the sea amethyst was falling to bits and it would roll like a bitch!

@TopperHarley5150 They sold the sea amethyst some time in 2007/2008. I heard the accomodation block was suffering from where the ship had been used in cold climates. Robin Whitehouse was the chief engineer. Do you work in the Merchant Navy nowadays?
