I love the engaged self-assurance with which you perform this maddeningly challenging work, and your wonderful flawless continuity and dynamic modulations are so tasteful and satisfying. The tempo is perfect ─ after all, it is supposed to be a dance, not a sprint into the wild beyond. I know that some other commentators take issue with this or that, but I will tell you that this is an exciting realization of the work that would probably have inspired Ginastera to dance next to your piano.
Good job, but just a little too slow, and very stiff. I think you're digging down too deep into the keys and it gives it a heavy, cumbersome feel. Perhaps work at a speed where you can stay totally relaxed at and gradually build speed, but only go as fast as you can play it relaxed. Once you start getting tense, it begins to sound tense.
Check out the performance by Aristo Sham for tips on staying relaxed as you play.
Good job nonetheless on a very physically intense piece of music.

This is wonderful; so glad you are investigating Ginastera! Are you working on the whole suite of Op. 2? Thanks!!

Yes. I did this piece on its own for a master class with Piers Lane. I have some good tips on improving it now.
