I live on Main St in Freehold and at the Memorial Day parade today, who is on the sidewalk 2 blocks down watching the parade in his hometown? Bruce Springsteen. We all feel proud Bruce. You are an american treasure and a true artist.

i listened to a lot of hippy/vietnam rock from my brother and his army buds and it took me a while to understand the songs. but this classic by the boss was cut in my days and this song has an impact like a 357. the factory closing verse i can relate to because in the D, there were so many small factories closed in the mid 80's and yes, they're not coming back. a true masterpiece.

Started to like Springsteen when I was 12, saw him playing "My City of Ruins" Live on T.V. and ever since then his music changed my life. The lyrics are so powerful and he is a truly amazing musician. I've seen him 5 times in Philadelphia including his last show at the Spctrum where he played 31 songs and played for about 3 hours and 15 minutes straight with no break at all. No concert touches a Springsteen one. I've seen Genesis, Elton John, Phil Collins, and Springsteen takes the top rank.
