Touche... they did just a couple of people go without killing them in the actual massacre. Eric wanted to cause the most massive destruction, he wanted to outdue the O.K. bombings etc.. Nontheless, the kid was crazy and I don't think he could have been helped, but what the hell do I know? Dylan, I believe could have been saved if he hadn't found Eric and his suicidal thoughts were addressed earlier.

And, there were also how many people in the school? Columbine is a fairly large school, and as far as school sizes go it was probably around 15 hundred people. Which means he wanted about 1400 people in the school to die not to mention all the other people who don't go to Columbine that he thought should die at his hands holding a sawn-off shotgun.

They weren't bad guys. At least Dylan wasn't. Eric was sort of psychopathic in the first place but I mean, when you have a kid like that, bullying in return is not the answer. In my opinion, Eric had more of a reason to do it than Dylan. Dylan was just a follower and was influenced by Eric, in fact, he had lots of friends and never got bullied whereas Eric did not and got bullied a lot. Dylan was just depressed, hated the world, and just wanted to have some fun before killing himself.

The two guys that did this obviously were treated so rudely and harshly, and they felt this is what they had to do to get back at the world. They were inspired by violence and fear and it's really horrible. They were two normal high school guys, they had no mental problems (recorded) and that's what I think is so horrible about this.
If people are treated so bad that they feel like they have to go and kill innocent people, and take their own lives that goes to show how mean people really are.
