is that a normal or a white monoblos? sorry cant identify becoz of the bad graphics. I'm a newbie but I cut the normal monoblos' tail then killed him in my first attempt (quest).. the white one is more annoying though.. cant beat him yet.. i used Hermitaur Armor (not upgraded), Death Scythe (not upgraded), herb, potion, mega potion, armor seed, power seed, etc... I also used SONIC BOMBS, LARGE BOMB + and small bombs.. ahaha i enjoy planting bombs right after i used sonic bomb on him (stunned)

i killed the monoblos with the blango armor level 1 and a gs (don't know the english name but it only has 624 atk and no elemental damage) on my first try, so that proves that equipement is secondary in this game. in this video you can see: how to avoid his attack when he dashes out of the ground, and you are told where to stand to do charged attacks, do you need more? no? good. Yes? change weapon -.-

yah.. his having kirin great sword.. aw... the right armor and easy to get for that level is the garuga set... and khezu shock sword... you can kill yian garuga using the bow. on the jungle in the night ur safe place is in the number 3 on the map... if u see the edge on the ramp near before entering map number 8 thats the safe place there and just bring poison smoke bomb for those vespoid coming at you.. kill garuga repeatedly as you complete the set. and upgrade it till lvl 6.

I always use LS and GS for blos, they're easy. Try bone blade and bone to kill it ( not G )

if you get garuga armor you get minor with a couple decorations and you can get high if you fill all its slots with earplug decorations

pretty bad run... u gt hit a few times... and its high graded earplugs earplugs will do no shit to help u ward off the scream and to all noobs... use a weapon u comfortable(i use dual swords the first time i did this quest i think it was blade edge cenataur item) and bring some 200def armour at most(first time i did i wore hermitaur set)and use flash bombs like the guys said... hope this helps... oh yea my first run was roughtly 10mins to 20mins

great swords aren't meant to be swing around as combo D:, you can either get unsheat critical and keep doing so or short charge for charging, long sword is fast, but it can't block =/

Long swords aren't bad...they're just...well...there are better weapons for end game(my best ones are Bow and Lance with Evade +2 and Evade Dist Up set, that makes any lance user near immortal)

nah you can use combo if your gs have high elemental AP. And actually it's more preferable than charging for elemental GS

Use Ravager Blade+ as it has better raw than a Khezu Shocksword even though the monoblos is weak to thunder you'll still do more damage with raw damage. And if you have the Elder quest level 6 you can fight the Azure Rathalos to get Rathalos Soul Armor for earplug.

id you havent got to killing azure rathalos, you can make full hornetaur armour which gives you high grade earplugs, also, i concur, ravager blade plus works better, or even golem blade [or golem plus]

Just to point out, Monoblos STARTS off in area 9. If you head there first, you can hold him there for a good 10 minutes at most. After that, he has a tendancy to go to either the 2 big areas or not even move at all.

just in case ya didnt know, there is a thing called felyne kitchen and when you do the combo he did (dragon tail, demonshroom?), the felynes make it and you get a buff that gives him 140 health and an attack boost. so dont go flamin random ppl like that unless u fuckin know they cheated.
