Although Sills is past her vocal price here she is still great. Bacquier is just terrible !! Don Pasquale is not such a " Pagliaccio " !!! Far too much

Wonderful! Although obviously Sills is past her vocal prime here, it's very smart singing, and her teamwork with Bacquier is gorgeous. Here are two superb musicians, two brilliant theatrical artists. Bacquier's physicality is especially compelling -- watch his hands and his shoulders.
