  • I enjoyed the jam at the end. For me it had little trinkets of BB riffs in there that were very tastily done.

    Bravo Marty!

  • That was a lesson!! A lesson on how to play the motherfuckin' guitar! AWESOME! :-D

  • 'Marty the true blues master' love the end tune that goes off

  • sounds a little like these boots are made for walkin. lol

  • Marty u rock man that was real soul... I can't wait for your blues DVD's I ordered

  • Thanks for the great lesson Marty, nice sounding chords. Not sure if you answer questions on here, I was just wondering what kind of strings you use? Being fairly new to guitar i haven't experimented with enough different kinds yet.

  • bluesie goodness! Marty, your teaching abilities are far better than anyone else on here. also you have by far the bluesiest guitar face :). Would love to see you teach some Beatles stuff also, like the don't let me down one.

  • great as usual. can you do any jazz solos?

  • wooow thats sound awesome

  • yeah lets wonder a little where that bluesy sound comes from

  • Awesome thank you!!

  • got a requst:

    Revolution by:

    The beatles

  • Good song man

  • Have you had your pinky surgically enhanced. My pinky doesn't span the fret like yours does. Spewing...

  • How do i actually set my Roland Cube in the good way, to get this bluesy sound?

  • Put the treble around 5 or lower, put the mids up pretty high, and have the bass somewhere in between. Everything else is your choice....but that's just my amp, I don't have a roland cube, but I've tried out a bunch of different amps and that seems to work on all of them!

  • Thanks, it actually worked!

  • No problem...I figured out something that sounds cool on a clean tone too- but it's on my amp.

    Mids- 10

    Bass- 10

    Treb- 6

    Gain- low: 2 or 3

then turn up the chorus or flange or what ever and crank up the reverb and echo stuff

Just sounds kind of cool. Not much of a blues thing, but just sounds cool for clean solos

  • @popomczowzow Nah just put it all up to 11 and wail!!!

  • Nice lesson!

    Thanx.

  • i will try :P

  • Very cool, I'll be up late again working on this one:-)

  • Nice blues lesson!

  • I liked it :)
