i wish yu guys were not out of stock on tan and green soldiers i saw it and i thought it was a pretty good deal. and also the tanks are out of stock i cant really buy any other tanks in the internet because one tank alone in other sites is like 14 bucks
@oscar77pr I appreciate the feedback and just wanted to let you know we're currently working with some wholesalers of plastic soldiers/vehicles to get them back in stock on the site (at very decent prices!) Feel free to sign up for the Combat Storm mailing list (if you haven't already) to be first in line when we announce the stock is replenished :)
There's a few buildings you can download for free in the downloads section of Combat Storm and also some free sandbags. Should be a good start to an epic battlefield :)
I have tried printing it on glossy and non-glossy but I find the colors usually turn out a bit more vibrant when I print on the glossy side. Either way works well, really.
So... can we use WWII army men, or is it focused on a certain era? I'm thinking of altering the rules for my own game... like part yours, part Ben Mora's game, cause he uses more vehicles, and you don't have to paint... So please respond if you can. I'm really new in wargaming, and this one seems good. So, thanks.
Combat Storm takes place in a modern setting, but it's quite simple to adapt to a WWII setting with some home-brew rules (like Ben Mora has cleverly done). We actually started creating a WWII version of Combat Storm a few months ago, but it hasn't yet been completed.
I might get the manual soon, but I don't know how to get the building copies... I don't them on the website... Also, can we use WWII plastic army men? Cause in the pictures there were some.
Combat Storm Rocks! Some table top wars are pretty expensive hobbies. This employs those great plastic army men we all grew up with. And NOW... scenery too. Cool.
Heh, nice. I want to say that this is a really good tutorial. You go through it at a good pace and there's nice "easter eggs" if the volume is high enough. When will you show how to make the other components of the kit? BTW, this is the CWF Game Cast.
this is for FoW right?
