  • Did I tell you I love you yet, man you are good. I just love watching you. Your detailed and inform well. But also I have your style of expression and the passion you show. I told my husband the other day when I see my nails I see a canvas. I am learning and enjoying you so much. I look forward to every new video. Hey were is that cool intro. You are so funny and upbeat in that, I so love it. It makes me smile every time I see it.

  • Great video! I'm just getting started and this video will help me a great deal. Time to get rid of that #16 brush I have, which I knew I should not have been using anyway but another tech swears by it. Hopefully one day I'll be able to attend one of the workshops (hopefully Greg's). I'm waiting to go to board, am I able to register on your site without a license number to make purchases?

    Thanks!

  • @CarnitaLynn You do need to be a licensed nail technician to purchase. If you are a student, give us a buzz and we can walk you through the process. So happy the videos are working for you. Stay tuned for more to come.

  • @ViciousBeautyNYC We try to really emphasize that point in all of our vids. Like Greg says "its not the tools, its the fools that do damage." We will look into that idea though, thank you!

  • Hey, i m a huge fan from germany and i will start doing acrylics too. These tutorials are of the chain!! Thank you for that! Questions, can i get ur products send overseas and is it possible to send u guys a pic of what i have "created" to get some feedback??Wish we had classes like u offer here in germany! Keep up the great work!!

  • Why do you start to build the nail at the cuticle area? Cuz i saw that almost everybody is starting to build the nail on the template

    what is better???

  • @KingArtur85 It's just another way of doing it. We use the reverse technique which gives you a great smile line and a beautiful arch to the nail. To do this we start toward the cuticle area drop the finger down so gravity pulls the bulk of product toward the stress area. This almost drops it into the perfect smile line for you then you just touch it up a little.

  • @YoungNailsInc Thxxx a lot... I'll try it in a few days!!! I loooveeeeeee your videos you are so professional!!!

  • This is fantastic video. I am a new nail enthusiast who is enrolled in school and I haven't heard any great explanations so far on perfect acrylic application until this video! Very very helpful and you are very good at explaining it in clear and concise way! Thanks for posting this and for sharing your expertise!!! Not many professionals are willing to share their knowledge with the public!!!

  • are you amazy good teacher thanks .

  • how do i get my clients nails to last 4 weeks or more with out lifting is patting better in my acrylic application

  • @oneofakindkerry When using our product there is absolutely no problem with doing the body first and then the free edge. The product connects into each other beautifully. No difference in strength at all.

  • @oneofakindkerry Prep work is your key. If prep work is not thorough then you will get lifting. Make sure to push back cuticles and that the entire cuticle area is free of any dead..dry skin on the nail plate. Then make sure to take the shine off the rest of the nail. Try using protein bond twice this helps with problem lifters. We recommend that clients don't go to long between fills. 2-3 weeks is recommended. Patting the product to much can cause air bubbles in the product.

  • i was always wondering about one thing, if i do the base first like greg does in this video to every of my clients nails and then put the forms in order and fill the free edges after, is there a problem doing it like this?i mean with the product after some time, lose its strength or something coz i didnt do it one by one from the begining to the end ?

  • @konstansal Prep work is your key. If prep work is not thorough then you will get lifting. • @YoungNailsInc thank you for the response but i didnt really got an answer, but i got the point

  • OMG!!!!! This video was the one I want to see. To learn how to apply the acrylic around the cuticle, you are a wonderful instructor, and the way you explain how to do it, it look so easy , very clear. God bless you Greg for sharing your talent with us.

Now my Questions...1. where can i buy this wonderful Products because i came from Germany... 2. can you all PLEASE come to Germany sometimes? This would be my biggest Wish!!!!!

    Best Regards Mandy :-)

  • Great thanks.. one more thing when I use a one ball technique I don't have enough acrylic for the whole nail what do you suggest?

  • Another very helpful video, but I have a concern about the brush Greg uses. As I am in process of switching entirely over to young nails, I placed an order for the silver handled pro brush. But I notice in most of his videos he uses mainly the wooden handled one. Is there a reason for this? Should I have purchased this one instead? I'm afraid that maybe I should've purchase the wooden one instead. Please help.

  • @JellynCrackers Not to worry! The wooden brush and the silver brush are the same size. They're both number nine. It's completely a matter of preference and comfort as to which one you use. Lot's of our nail techs use the silver one, and LOVE it!

  • is the ratio different from clear or sheer powders?

  • @cuddlebumm1 Nope, it's the same.

  • lol i love the way u looked at the camera and said "UNTIL WE GET THIS RIGGHT !

  • perfect!!!

  • I love the way teach.. but you don't use the three ball technique... Can u use this technique with any acrylic?

  • @ERNESTINEAPODACA Yes, you absolutely can!

  • Greg, you're great! Thanks. Love you teaching style.

  • U ROCK!!!! thank u thank u thank u!!!!!!!!
