This game was terrible and the gear savanna tracks were the only good things to come from it. The digimon were pissier and whined more than tamagotchis and the battle system was like watching two mentally-challenged people fight each other.

it's so amazing such game with simple graphic could bring you to feel that you're actually part of the adventure itself. Video games is not just about gameplay, graphic, soundtrack. it's all about how the game can captivate the player. And digimon was one of those games. In fact even the storyline were simple, it's a perfect match for a kids back then to show them the adventure of Digital World.

@TheChosenOneOfRussia The trick to that Nisedrimogemon that sits before the markets area. You simply have to walk in a ways to lure him out of the spot he's guarding and then he'll try to rush you. When he does this you back out and wait for him to move out of the way (avoiding him at the same time and then you make a break for it.

This is actually maybe the best track for the game, maybe file city (night) is better, this game was all really pretty good other than one major thing, the battle system was really bad, about 50% or more of the time your digimon ignores your orders which really boggled my mind with what the creators were thinking.

@vfgjhj Ok,the battle system wasn't what I would call "pro", but the game was one of it's kind and a true gem. It was like a sims game for your digimon and anyone who thinks this game sucks, I'd like to see you point out a game that was this innovative and was perfect. Ps magazine doesn't always get it right, look at what they said about Legend of Dragoons! Even thought the critics weren't pleased, the fan response was huge!

@vfgjhj lol they are stupid. its 2011 and i'm still on this game, this game is one of the best. especially because of the way you raise the digimons, the battlesystem gives a special feeling of well done training and you can support your follower with items, its perfectly done. the downside of this game is the number of bugs, glitches and screen freezes that occur. for the next title (digimon world re-digitize) i would like to have it a bit easier to gain meat and heal items in the beginning.
