To everyone arguing about the war in Vietnam, we lost; plain and simple. We may be one of, if not the strongest military power, but we aren't the best at Asian combat. We didn't end up winning in Vietnam, and in WWII, Japan would've taken our country had we not dropped a couple atomic bombs. Asians are better with infantry combat; hand to hand warfare. Americans and other Western powers are better with long term strategy and strategic quick-strikes. Deny it all you want, but that's what I see.

@PROkiller16 You actually have a harrier? well anyway, your harrier may have a Vertical Takeoff or Landing capability, but the F4 Phantom has 2 Pratt and Whitney J-79 Turbo jets... And your harrier can only top 662 Miles Per Hour (Mach 0.89) at sea level... The F4 Phantom tops 1,472 Miles per hour (Mach 2.23) :)... and when the 1st m60's came out, they were truly shit... but during nam, alot of soldiers abused their M60's and they still fired.. i hope they cleaned them when they got back! :)

A Harrier is brilliant in combat situation because of the VTOL ability, no jet could litterally launch a surprise attack from a car park, and we don't go for speed because we aim to make vehicles capable of going for a while. Well a lot of weaponry then was crap at first stage, it still doesn't change that it can jam quite easily.

But the Harrier makes up by allowing more in aircraft carriers, smaller runways and you can have bases in quite a few places due to VTOL. They were using old Chinese MiG copies weren't they?

My favorite weapon that ive shot and jammed was actually either an MG-3, or a Beretta M9... Actually the MG-3 was my favorite... it was a catastrophic failure when i saw that the barrel was glowing bright orange... so i shot it some more and what do ya know? The barrel just snaps... But luckily MG-3 barrels are abundant. :)

And i love vickers i may be firing one this week :) I will also be taking my grand father's m1 garand and m1a1 thompson down to the range :)

That would be assault here, unless the fellow was trying to kill you in plain sight then it would be assault for shooting him. @MrJp990 They do here because they own the largest land. They didn't make scopes for M1 Garands I believe, if they did I doubt it would be on a regular M1 Garand. I suggest a M1903, they tend to be better rifles.

And i like the M1 garand better because its a semi automatic and its not a bolt action... Even though bolt actions are more reliable, im going for the faster firing rifle :)

I think the distance was about 500 feet ( I don't know ) and i hit the rc plane in its right wing and the round travelled into the left engine.
