mannymolecular - That was one of the most insensitive and uneducated comments possible. You obviously have no idea about the Integral model and the idea that you can cure any illness 'from within' is laughable. It is magical thinking. This is the internet equivalent of going into a hospital and telling the terminally ill patients to 'find their healing and core truth'. Very distasteful and presumptuous.

yeah it's because of all of the seizures he's been having.

I doubt that his illness is due to "dis-ease." It could be, but he generally dismisses that notion that your attitude can, with 100% certainty, keep you healthy. That said, who knows. But he is one of the healthiest people on the planet so I think it's safe to assume he's doing all he can. We love you Ken and we know you're ready for whatever comes next. namaste

As one of the great teachers of the world, perhaps Ken could consult with some of his fellow greats like Deepak Chopra and John Demartini who both teach that 'incurable' simply means curable from within. Isn't it taught that dis-ease and illness is a result of unresolved issues, high stress and imbalanced perceptions? We need you here on earth Ken; pick up the weight training again; maintain a great diet, let go of the intellect for a while and search from within for your healing & core truth

@mannymolecular note that fully enlightened beings such as Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj also picked up disease in the form of cancer and were at peace with the thought of letting the body do it's thing. We westerners are highly identified with the body, obsessed in fact and so all of this talk. True healing is not of the body. My opinion.

Just so you know, his disease is the result of a poisoning that hit a whole little community. There is a letter he wrote to his friends, explaining the reasons for his sickness. You can find it on the net.
