@OldsXCool PS3 Tracks in 3D, more accurate/solid, can mount virtual objects onto the controller(Such as holding a sword), potential camera use for game-play (Eye-pet), games can support higher graphics, movements are mirrored into the game real time(So when you play boxing games the character's hands go where your hands go).
Wii does not mirror the movements well, I played wii boxing and I tried to do an uppercut just for fun, but instead my character just smacked himself in the head.

@GetPatriotized I loved Killzone 2 as far as storyline was concerned but I only managed to keep interested in online mode for about a month? There were too many FPS out at the time on 360 and PS3 and the controls were just far too sucky on it. I really hope with the Playstation Move it doesn't feel like I'm driving a TANK on Killzone 3.
The graphics are slightly better than the wii's and to be honest the games look just like the games you would play at an arcade at the mall or a movie theartre, they're fun, but would you really buy them? The only one that looks good is the fighting one.

Considering that you need the move, navigation controller, and ps eye, it comes out to them both being way to expensive. Not to mention a few move games at e3, used two lollipop controllers, so you could throw in another 50 dollars and you are still only talking about single player. So your looking at about over $150-$200 alone... But right now Kinect has a better marketing strategy. Since Kinect is being advertised everywhere with the new xbox360. More consumers want Kinect, alot more...
@nmhamgreg Natal/Kinect costs by itself $150 projected, $100 with console. The good thing about it is that it can recognize four at once, so you won't need to pay extra. You can never forget the $60 game, so that's still a lot for either console. Then there's the shovelware...

Even tho kinect has gameplay much simpler than even the wii, its price and marketing advantage over the move is going to be a big factor in getting parents to purchase it over the move during the chrismass sales surge. Theres no way tho that either move or kinect are going to steal the casual market from the wii, kinect sucks too much and moves way too expensive.
@TheShiitHead Don't judge either Kinect/Move until you have had hands on feel with them. I'm sure Kinect has lots of Core games to offer, in the near future. Games from Lionhead, Crytek, Bungie, EA, Ubisoft, Valve... Possibly even good RPG/RTS games since Kinect has Voice commands and an interactive Scanning Camera to project real life stuff into the game. Kinect is a much better technology then both Wii, and Move

@supercoolperson14725 No its not , its far more technical and far superior in its movement tracking in every way, yes it has motion sensing but this is a concept that was going even before the wii with some very basic games. Nintendo didnt invent the idea of movement tracking in games they just got out first with the wii. Sony has been working on the move for yeeeears.

IT knows exactly where your body is in relation to the screen and follows your movements precisely. I wouldn't call any console gamer a "graphics whore". PC Fanboys are though. And Sony doesn't just pile horsepower on gamers. The PS3 was their first real attempt to create the most superior console on the market in terms of graphical and performance capabilities. I cant say the exact same for MS though. The Xbox was clearly the most powerful console of last gen and it seemed as if Micro tried to recreate that same situation this gen.

Allow sony and ms to gain a little more experience and they may be able to surprise with some great, revolutionary ideas. The problem is Sony and micro are technology companys first and game companys second. sony made TV's, VCR's,and cd players before they made playstation. Micro made OS and computers. Befor n64 nintendo made Virtual boy (it failed but it showed that nintedno had always been forward thinking) before that SNES and befor that NES and befor that arcades and befor arecades they made trading card games. Nintedno has always been about games, they are owned by gamers

I know that the Playstation was only created by Sony because they had the rights to it after the disagreement between them and Nintendo back in the 90's. INstead of the camera at the screen and the light in your hand (ps Move) the camera is in the tip of the wiimote and the sensor bar provides the light(Wii). plus all the other tec, gyro and accelometers where all copied from the wiimote aswell.
@Pooverse The move is not a "rip off" of the wiimote either. They just have similar aesthetics. Both were conceived before being introduced to the public anyway. Move and Natal are being released because of the recognition of the wii's success. Whenever ANY idea is popular or effective, it is inevitable that other companies will try to recreate and improve it.

In my opinion, the ps move is bringing more precision to motion control, as well as a more diverse library of games. I was not going to mention the pseye because I know of the gameboy camera and the power glove. In fact, I think that Nintendo is a pioneer in motion control. million times better than the wii. knowing sony the precision on the controls will be better than the wii controls. the graphics will be better and i have a 360 ps3 and wii but i dont think natal will be as good as the ps3s remote. the ps3 will have buttons for first person shooters and imagine having an online motion sword game.
i think nintendo still has more of an advantage because nintendo is an older company, their systems tend to survive longer, the games are more "4 everyone", and the wii has motion sensors, can play music, play dvds(sure not bluray but wats the difference), and is cheaper

@nmhamgreg ur absolutely right. looking at this from a neutral stand point. kinnect has WAY better marketing. Even tho kinect has gameplay much simpler than even the wii, its price and marketing advantage over the move is going to be a big factor in getting parents to purchase it over the move during the chrismass sales surge. Theres no way tho that either move or kinect are going to steal the casual market from the wii, kinect sucks too much and moves way too expensive.

@TheShiitHead Don't judge either Kinect/Move until you have had hands on feel with them. I'm sure Kinect has lots of Core games to offer, in the near future. Games from Lionhead, Crytek, Bungie, EA, Ubisoft, Valve... Possibly even good RPG/RTS games since Kinect has Voice commands and an interactive Scanning Camera to project real life stuff into the game. Kinect is a much better technology then both Wii, and Move

@supercoolperson14725 No its not , its far more technical and far superior in its movement tracking in every way, yes it has motion sensing but this is a concept that was going even before the wii with some very basic games. Nintendo didnt invent the idea of movement tracking in games they just got out first with the wii. Sony has been working on the move for yeeeears.

@Vidman313 I have a friend who works at Sony....this is a project that has been worked on for absolutely years...and new technologies have worked this way for years, rival companies using new technologies available to improve on previous products on the market. THIS IS BETTER THAN THE Wii! not exactly the same thing by any means, moving tracking is superior, the games you can play are far superior in graphics etc read into it properly before commenting such sweeoping statements

innovation??? this is the new generation....it tracks your entire movement not just a little bit of shaking the controller?!?! IT knows exactly where your body is in relation to the screen and follows your movements precisely. The wii is DEAD. if you play the table tennis u cant just sit on ya ass and flick the controller a tiny bit like the wii you actually have to be more accurate as it knows the exact movement ur doing, which means you can add spin the ball and all sorts....this is AWESOME!

I wouldn't call any console gamer a "graphics whore". PC Fanboys are though. And Sony doesn't just pile horsepower on gamers. The PS3 was their first real attempt to create the most superior console on the market in terms of graphical and performance capabilities. I cant say the exact same for MS though. The Xbox was clearly the most powerful console of last gen and it seemed as if Micro tried to recreate that same situation this gen.

The problem is Sony and micro are technology companys first and game companys second. sony made TV's, VCR's,and cd players before they made playstation. Micro made OS and computers. Befor n64 nintendo made Virtual boy (it failed but it showed that nintedno had always been forward thinking) before that SNES and befor that NES and befor that arcades and befor arecades they made trading card games. Nintedno has always been about games, they are owned by gamers

@Pooverse Ever since console gaming started with the Atari 2600, there was a lot of room for improvement. Nintendo was able to create new concepts because they made it into the game early. Who knows what Sony or Microsoft could have done if they were in that position. You cannot blame them for not being a game company from the moment they were created.

I know that the Playstation was only created by Sony because they had the rights to it after the disagreement between them and Nintendo back in the 90's. The fact is, Sony only came into the gaming business because of Nintendo. That shows that Sony wasn't interested in consoles back in the days of the NES. As for MS......

INstead of the camera at the screen and the light in your hand (ps Move) the camera is in the tip of the wiimote and the sensor bar provides the light(Wii). plus all the other tec, gyro and accelometers where all copied from the wiimote aswell.

Move and Natal are being released because of the recognition of the wii's success. Whenever ANY idea is popular or effective, it is inevitable that other companies will try to recreate and improve it.

I think that they are trying to improve and increase performance on what technology currently exists. Both companies have great accessories and games for their console. Coming up with brand new ideas are not that easy.

The type of innovation I mean is redefining a genre by creating a quality game or finding new ways to make gaming more interactive. In my opinion, the ps move is bringing more precision to motion control, as well as a more diverse library of games. I was not going to mention the pseye because I know of the gameboy camera and the power glove. In fact, I think that Nintendo is a pioneer in motion control. To tell the truth, I like Nintendo and Sony equally.

I know what a PC can do (I have a custom Rig myself). But it can't do GOWII, MGS4, FF13, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2..

i think nintendo still has more of an advantage because nintendo is an older company, their systems tend to survive longer, the games are more "4 everyone", and the wii has motion sensors, can play music, play dvds(sure not bluray but wats the difference), and is cheaper
