  • This was written before 1974, possibly in India. If you listen to 'McCartney' issued in 1970 you'll hear a snippet at the end of 'HOT AS SUN' - before 'GLASSES'

  • such a great song paul makes me want to learn piano so bad

  • this tone on his voice it's one of the kind

  • I'm 99.99% sure that this is the song that Paul sent to Frank Sinatra and he rejected it. This song would've suit Frank Sinatra perfectly...to be honest I reckon Frank would have turned it down because the whole brilliant melody was out of his 'vocal range'...even if he changed the key.

  • @adampower1973 this is the frank sinatra song yes. there are a couple of interviews where paul mentions it.

  • @michaelvkelly Yeh Michael...great song hey :)

  • Fuck....How would you be...Paul was about 32 in this video. Could you imagine knowing that you were in a band about '4'! years ago called....'The Beatles'!

  • GUESS WHAT: You can get this song now on McCartney 1 im so glad thumbs up if ur glad to.

  • I could agree more, my boner always points to Paul

  • This song makes me wanna do dirty things to his sexy ass and ima dude

  • i cant stop listening to this.. :D

  • why isnt this song on i tunes

  • @JoelVarela1 It will be. This time next week actually!

  • so little views for such great song !!

  • in was reading that this song was written early in the 60s, with paul intending it for frank sinatra

  • I can't stop listening to this song every time it finishes I hit replay

  • Something tells me if the Beatles HAD stayed together they would have gone further into to the jazz direction.

  • @Logicallyrare

HMMM, there was some jazzy stuff on the white album, but i don't think lennon would have really wanted to went that way, but probably for one or two songs.

  • @Logicallyrare Yeah I don't think Lennon would have wanted it either at that time even though they made that joke track "You know my name (look up the number)" which was parodying jazz. I think a big part of why Lennon left was lack of progress, but even him in his own solo career later on wrote a song with Frank Sinatra in mind on his "Walls and Bridges" album, the song was "Nobody Loves you (When You're Down And Out)."

  • I think this is the one he wrote for Sinatra but it would've been more suited to The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

  • The "ah ah ahhh" is like the one in Junk

  • Yeh. This was written way back when he was in The Beatles. There's a recording somewhere from the Get Back Twickenham sessions.

  • just great! thanks!!!

  • paul has a beautiful voice.
