I agree. It's in the name people. DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION. you dance to it. try dancing and hitting arrows at the same time, then you'll know what it's like to suck at it and to resort to senseless stomping.

Yaaaay!!! I love freestyle! Regular DDR looks boring without some coreography or freestyle'n. Sure it's impressive how fast you can move your feet and get an AAA or w/e, but it's boring to watch and it's basically Stepmania with your feet lol xP

I still don't know why we call routines "freestyle"... Freestyle is usually supposed to be something made up on the fly, but either way... For the most part motions were in sync, but not quite as energetic as some.. (Due to the fact that a lot of people playing ddr feel like they are being made fun of)
