@James09854 We already have a national anthem called God Save the Queen. This song was born and created in Scotland but like all music, it belongs to no one country - it belongs to the world. As a young British (Scot) soldier stationed in Germany a few years after the second world war, this song was played on the radio at midnight in my (German) girlfriend's house. I broke into tears of homesickness and it was my German girlfriend's German mother who comforted me!

I expect that my own life will end in the next four or five years and I hope that my own children will have their own cherished memories resurected by a song as beautiful as this one. Andre may not be the greatest violinist or conductor but he is certainly the worlds's best showman.

I am very fortunate that I have had a very good life, a good wife, a great marriage and five wonderful children who have had ten beautiful children. So - no complaints. When my time comes I will go quietly . I do not believe in any afterlife. I think heaven and hell are here on Earth. I will live on in my children and grandchildren.
