I'm sorry, exactly what talent are you talking about that Jerry "couldn't see"? There is nobody on the Dolphins that could take anyone's position on the Cowboys except maybe Ronnie Brown and that has nothing to do with Jerry Jones.
Jason Furguson,Dat Nguyen,Anthony Fasano-all very smart and talented players. Not to mention their head coach is a phenomenal offensive line coach. All these guys were former Cowboys during our 13-3 season
Jason Ferguson didn't play in 2007. Jay Ratliff took over and played better and had a lot to do with 13-3. Not Fergy.
Dat Nguyen. Was a Cowboy his whole career and is currently their LB coach. Never a Dolphin.
Anthony Fasano. That's nice he had a good year in Miami in 2008. He's not a bad player. But you can have him. With Jason Witten and Martellus Bennett there it's crowded. Best he could get is 3rd on the depht chart. Those guys are just better.
Ratliff did not do better than Fergy when we had Fergy in 06 we had the #1 Defense in the league,That guy plugs up holes all day nobody was able to run it on us ,Ratlifs good but hes way to small to be a nose tackle, we saw it last year when our defense gave up two 60+ yard runs in a row against Baltimore. And we also seen it against Oakland in the Pre-Season when Mcfadden ran all over us
I don't disagree about Ratliff being too small. I've been screaming for a big NT for years to get Ratliff back to DE where he belongs. But the fact is Fergy played no part in a 13-3 season and wouldn't now at 36 really.
Akin Ayodele? He's Bradie James, Kyle Brooking, and all the other riff raff we've had in there. Like what you were saying about Ratliff, ILB is another place we are small and weak. For some reason we've decided that the middle of the defense isn't all that important.
A lot of folks are quick to say that Belichick has surpassed Parcells on the coaching ladder because of the number of championships he has won, but what they forget is that - with all due respect to Belichick, he built one incredible team. Parcells built the Giants and got two rings, built up a horrendous Patriots' team and got them to the Superbowl, built up a horrendous Jets' team and got them to the AFC championship game, then brought the Cowpokes back to respectability... Hail Bill!
Im a cowboy fan and i love bill parcells. Sure he didn't win the super bowl or a playoff game with the cowboys. But he did make the cowboys a respectable organization again after 3 straight seasons of going 5-11.
Im a huge Cowboys fan and I loved Parcells. I think he is one of the greatest coaches in the history of the NFL and every Cowboy fan should appreciate what he did for us. He brought respect back to the Cowboys
You know, most cowboy fans did'nt like Bill, but he gave us some of the greatest weapons in our Roster arsenal. He kept Romo here, he could be playing for the Saints right now if it wasn't for bill.
It was a bcak door deal for Zach Thomas

Its not Parcells fault that Jerry Jones cant see talent. We didn't let him have them, we let them go and he took them

Jason Taylor got injured. And he's a dancing star now too! I don't think you'd want him. The Dolphins didn't for that reason.

He did the same thing for patriots!!

funny to think of Cowboys' fans not appreciate Parcells. He's no Tom Landry, but if not for Bill, Romo would be wearing different colors.
