Photoshop Tutorials for Beginners - Basic Lighting Effects in CS4

Hi, love the tutorials and I am happy to see that you actually explain how each tool works in great detail. But I was wondering if you do this tutorials for PC? It can make my and a lot of people's life easier since keyboard button lay outs are different from PC to Mac. If you don't do the tutorials for PC do you know where I can find some? That are as good as yours. Please and Thank-you

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. My lasso tool is different then the one your using...It won't automatically make straight lines like on yours, or at least thats what it looks like on yours. And they styles aren't working either. I did get them to work...but IDK what I'm doing wrong now.

i have a problem! when i click any style the the image remains same as white

I'm not sure I understand what your issue is...Are you on the right layer?

same here when I try to use styles is don't do a thing layer is selected I can hit ctrl +shift and  the fill color of my chose well fill the spot. but when I try to do the style is say's that the layer is locked and I don't know how to unlock it

do u have 2 use the lasso tool nd filling it in with color 2 make only a certain shape filled w/ a style? can u also use the magic wand tool instead? thanx! ^^

You can use the magic wand to grab an area filled with a solid color, but I like the lasso because it allows you to be fairly precise if you take your time with it. It really depends on the situation but the magic wand can work well.

I tried using the wand, but for some reason the syle still takes up the entire page, instead of that certain area I asked for. Wat might b the problem? thanx ^^

Have you tried messing with the "tolerance" setting of the wand? The higher the setting the more color it'll pick up.
