Ahhhhhh taking out the fun of jumping into a cold - fogged up/ frosted over winshield office on a STAR flight ..... hitting the APU start switch 80 thousand times to get some heat ... where's the fun in flying at 5am in the dead of winter?
10 years of effort, we successfully developed the most advanced "Wall Shuttle"in the world and got patented . With one person operation and automatic movements , which could be widely used for paint brush , wall polishing and cleaning (including glass curtain walls, glass, etc.), wallpaper removal, wallpaper stick , wallpaper paste and so on.
@applesweeter some might but its not the fact of people CHOOSING to go on enviromentaly friendly, its the fact that airlines will purchase them regardless, and passengers will ride them regardless. usually you dont get to pick which plane your on anyway, so people will ride them regardless of if there enviromentaly friendly or not.
That "Gold Tint" isn't new. We've had it in Lear Jets for over 30 years. Though not all aircraft are equipped standard. I'll take the Dark Windows on the Airbus (I can't believe I just said that .. I hate flying an Airbus product .. why couldn't Boeing get its act together?).
Great video - very interesting new feature. However, I can't help but notice striking similarities between the Boeing 787 and the Airbus A350 (shape etc.). Who's copying who? Or is this simply just a sign of the newest technology being implemented by several companies at once? As it seems below that this is not clear, they were joking about the A350's windows. NO plane manufacturer would ever make fully tinted black windows.
Actually, Boeing's windows are far more advanced than Airbus' for the A350XWB. Boeing's are a lightweight, structurally loaded, composite design; whereas, the Airbus windows are standard technology, clamped windows that require a heavy structure to support the aircraft loads. Airbus is giving up over 250lbs of weight in their aircraft design by using old technology.
In absolute fairness to Airbus, this was just a movie theater in the shape of the A350 displaying some of the features that would be found in their XWB. The windows were simply painted on. We just had some fun with it.
Care to explain your logic there? If you're referring to the tanker deal, that was bullshit. Boeing was very close to the DoD's criteria. Airbus's platform was about 200,000 pounds bigger. Boeing asked the DoD if they wanted something bigger, than the 767 and they said no. Then when Boeing and Airbus made their bids, the DoD basically said "well we want something bigger"
The tanker deal is exactly what I was referring to. My logic is about whatever the customer is happiest with, aka "whatever floats your boat" . Hence, the DoD chose a foreign made aircraft over it's long time supplier of heavy planes because they liked the Airbus model over the Boeing. I simply chose to challenge someone's opinion in jest. No need to take it personally.
ps- I don't really care what Italy likes, I'm American.
Not personal, just a big debate in the aviation sector. The RFP that the AF submitted outlined a platform that the 767 fit perfectly, and the AF continually encouraged Boeing to make a proposal based on the 767 platform. KC-767 exceeds the customer's metrics at a lower cost of acquisition, operation, AND support. A330 is MUCH bigger and would cost MUCH more (on the order of 25%) to operate and support. It's like telling a car dealer you want an efficient car then buying an H2 somewhere else
IF IT AINT BOEING IT AINT GOING!!!!

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1)Why do we love flying?
(2) Why do we always want to build new aeroplanes?
(3) Why do we think that building new aeroplanes is a representation of our success?
(4) Why do prove the process of designing and building new aeroplanes?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)
applesweeter 2 years ago
@applesweeter your answer:
1.curiosity
2.human nature
3.desire for self accomplishment
4.incorporation of new technologies
5.more efficient planes produce less emissions harmful to the enviroment.
6. its just something to do lol.

Do you think that passenger will choose to fly with a particular airline if they have environment friendly aeroplanes, like 787?

@applesweeter
1. Because it kicks ass
2. Because they kick ass
3. Because we kick ass
4. Better gas mileage, technology for the pilots, comfy chairs, nicer toilets and hopefully more leg room.
