guess what! I just figured out how to make SND0.AT3's (ATRAC3plus; not the crappy ATRAC3 codec) twice as long! I'll make a tutorial when I have time! I also need a bit more time to organize the tutorial with freeware only!

Easy way:

Just change sample.wav to sample.at3 and your done.

EDIT: Apparently I don't get the warning about the file will become useless..

When I try to put it over in PSX2PSP, the program simply can find the file like it doesn't excist.. what could be the problem?

hmmm having troubles on windows 7, everything seems kool downloads but the plugin or driver doesnt work right.... um everything else i got, it just doesnt pop up at the bottom when saving so... any ideas..

still not working? the fix for my windows xp: - windows start button -> settings -> control panel - Open "Sounds and Audio Devices" - Open Hardware tab and select Audio Codecs - Hit the propperties button to view installed codecs - In new screen select propperties tab - Find "Sony ATRAC3 Audio Codec" in bottom of list - Right click it & go to propperties - "use this audio codec" must be sellected - Change it's priority - for me i changed from 15 to 1 - now goldwave works! goodluck!

this never ever works whenever i try it. I restarted re-installed, the work and it doesn't work. Why couldn't Sony just use .wav.

@ceramiclion ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus is a very compressed audio format; something that is 500kb it ATRAC3plus format would be around 20mb in WAVE form.

@dup1222 I was trying to make an application (for the PSP) that automatically makes it loop with the sample header with your cue points (perfect loop).
