  • 0 dislike......I like it!

  • Wow! I wish I could have been there!

  • To all those who think this is not really that good... This is something a person has to hear in real life to truly appreciate it... No audio codec can recreate the magic of an orchestra... nothing... not even a million dollar setup...

  • I miss Hugh Marsh's soaring solo, and David Pilche's bass, but that's just me. Nice piece of music, not crazy about the symphony

  • I think the orchestra completely killed the song. You can't beat Antoine & Tommys version, that one is just amazing.

  • sometimes the orchestra sounded really good, and sometimes it didnt sound so good (just my opinion) and don was great the whole way through

  • One of my favorite Don Ross songs! Good work

  • oh my god... I don't have words to say how amazing song is it...

  • I used to think I could play a little- you are an inspiration!!!

  • I truly appreciate what you have done not only for me, but for the generations of music players to come.Your work is, and will always be, an inspiration to millions aspiring to create something as beautiful as you have. I hope to one day be counted among the ranks of those such as you, and plan to work hard for as long as it takes to achieve that. Thank you once again.

  • I hate myself for having missed your gig in Cologne...

  • So sad that only 2,948 people have seen this. Great performance!

  • he smiles at 2:56!!!! This is awesome

  • Wow.

  • Don, I really like this arrangement for Catherine is there a soundboard recording for this concert available for purchase somewhere?

I especially like the Steve Reich'esque style pulses used with the woodwinds and strings at some points. It's very poignant as I know he is a major influence for you compositionally, really such a phenomenal arrangement and performance.

  • Stunning!

  • you seem to eat and breathe guitar

  • This composition has such deep emotion ...a truly great song from the heart.

Thank you Mr. Don Ross for allowing us to experience this.....

  • how i like that song don ross...thanks

  • Inspiration in its purest form.

  • That is shockingly impressive.

  • The tune is a dedication to an aunt of mine who died a number of years ago. It's actually a Lowden O-10. I normally play a Beneteau these days, but I used this older guitar for the orchestral gigs because the shorter scale made it easier to play the Rodrigo concerto.

  • @gobyfishmusic This is wonderful, Don. I saw you play at the wild roots cafe in Nanaimo about 10 years ago. It's so amazing how your finger-style playing has taken off since then. Your right-hand technique has become really quite solid. Nice work.

  • @gobyfishmusic i remember u -playing this for me in your house in t.o. back in 89/90? wish my mom could afforded the lessons don, this song stuck wityh me ... got ya stumped dont I ? love yA man! never stop...... the world need your music.
