I had a few teachers that stick out in my mind even today, because they were good, and I learned a lot in their class. Not only did I learn, but they kept me interested in the topic at hand.

I'm not saying there aren't a few too many people that are relying on that, but obviously there are better ways to fix that. And yes, you should have the same tax rate as someone like me, who cleans tile floors commercially, normally in grocery stores. Its not unreasonable. You pay more as you make more. It's not like you're going to not make more as you progress.
