this is another country laws are differnt in every country regarding every radio service for the most part. heck out amateur radio band on the 440 mhz here in the usa is basically FRS for europe. and our FRS is englands fire department frequencies

Yeah.. I guess your right there. I,m not a lover of contests on ham radio as it they take over the whole band and a contest seems to bring out the worst of operators. I steer clear of the bands at contest or stay on 17 mtrs which is a contest free band.. thank god. Keep doing what your doing chap and enjoy what you do. Best 73s. ian

It is clear that ham contests are more interesting from technical point of view. But socially is interesting to defeat our oponents on CB. By the way, we have lost first place in november 2007 after failure of horrible expedition to Jeseniky mountains (we barely saved lives and car from snow there)
