  • thx man ur gd pple

  • @jmtm87111 No problem man. Just trying to help others out. This groove is so sick isn't it? It is also extremely hard to play it up to speed like Drew. That guy is amazing.

  • @17masonry yea man still still tryin to play it

  • You made it possible, muh man. Thanks so much for the vid. Keep kickin ass dude! Peace and Love.

  • @Interlopers111 Thanks bud.

  • i use to have techears that were too scared to get a student of them on their level ,they gave "him" complicated exercises that even they could'nt play just to "proove" him that he wasnt for that level.its a closed system for few pros that get all the jobs ,teaching, playig on gigs etc.... so sick and sad so many talents waisted...

  • i curius whats the thumbs down for? make easyer for ppl ti play it? f...n pathetic

  • @nadir6661 I don't get it either. Some people like being mean I guess.

  • pull your pants down please!!

  • @MrTacO3ite lol....sure thing

  • Are you sure the sticking is correct? He does a lot of inverted double strokes. Great job anyways, thanks.

  • @dejd thanks for watching and your question. I watched that video probably 100 times and I played along with him as I did it. I'm 99.99% sure that it is the correct notation. Try writing it out, memorizing it and then playing along with Drew in the vid....it should work out :)

  • wow thank you so much dude

  • GREAT JOB, i always struggle with notation when it comes to those kind of cool fills, i have a video on youtube with a cowbell-groove played by Travis Barker wich i can't really figure out. Can you maybe give an opinion on this one?I am sure it will be a peace of cake for you compared to this groove :)

The keywords on youtube are: "travis barker more cowbell".

    Kind regards, Seppe from Belgium.

  • @mathhy74 Thank you sir! I will look at the video you suggested and see what I can do...although you probably already figured it out by now since it's been 9 months since you posted this comment (sorry). If you haven't.....I would be more than happy to do a video on it and in the meantime...check out some of my new videos. I think that you will like them :)

  • You are great

  • @Koyuki91 You are great for watching! Thanks!

  • That's some nice TaTas.

  • @ibbumpn haha....well said sir!

  • thanks for posting this. i'm up to a wopping 45bpm! lol. it really helps if you have a metronome that allows trip subs. some of the kids on you tube today really have it together, thanks to you and drew for some great inspiration after 28 years of playing-

  • @lasticebreaker Wow...that was a very nice comment you left. I wish I would have replied sooner than a year! Drew and I owe a lot of it to Musician's Institute in Hollywood and Andy Megna (our private teacher at MI). Drew has always been such a great player. He's got the gift you know? I can't do it much faster than 45bpm either :) Check out some of my newer videos for some cool stuff too! I'm no Drew...but I like to think that I am somewhat creative :) thanks for watching and the comment!

  • Thanks for posting man! Good to see us other musicians helping each other out!

  • @paradiddleman33 Thanks man. I try to do what I can, when I can. Check out some of my newer vids...trying to come up with some good ideas and video lessons. Let me know what you think!

  • thanks so much dude i just couldn't figure out teh fucking rythm :D :)

  • word.

  • i like the way you can the triplets man .. great video =]

  • hi, thanks - nice transcription, looks great, but isn't this pushed a 16th note back? seems he's trying to keep the back beat on 2 and 4, but here it seems to come just before every time, or? can't really see the whole thing at one time, but it seems that may be the case? just a thought.

  • The backbeat is still on 2 and four if you look at where the accents are placed. If you pause the video at 3:13 you can see the whole thing. That straight line near the beginning is supposed to be a barline which seperates one measure from another measure. So beat 1 falls right after that barline. Since 16th note triplets have six notes per quarter note...there are 24 notes. I forgot to write the beat above the sticking.....I will do this in future vids.

  • thanks for this dude really appreciate it this ones bugged me for ages that i aint bothered...really the dude on the vid should ezplain it better but well done .

  • @chazzable No problem. That's what I'm here for :)

  • hey thanks for this..im still a little confused, could u possibly make the tutorial video of you playing it slow along with this? Thank you!! i wanna learn this sooo bad

  • I'll get one up tomorrow if I can. I'm left handed though, so you're gonna have to change the sticking of my hands on the vid! But I'll do my best...
