The land was called Macedonia in the past, and therefore the name should remain. If Macedonia belongs to Greece, they would speak the greek language. Because this person who greeks are so obsessed about, was born on this land and at the time which I believe belonged to Greece, it means he was Greek, not Macedonian. Because of that, it doesn't mean the name of a different country should be changed, that would be like calling Portugal a former republic of Portugal. I don't see any point in that.
