@SaigoNoGetsugaTensho If he keeps killing you with that tornado, you need to quickly switch to sentinel so your defenses will highly go up, then go to salvation to quickly heal ya'll selves afterwards.

One thing to keep notice here this guy always uses Inpentrable Aura everytime he loses 1 million hp when he has less than 9 million he tends to do it randomly.... that asshole.

@MNIMAB Actually, if you watch carefully, his stats aren't that high. He's just maxed out the three original roles for each character and a fourth one...
I got him to just under 50%, he done the whirlwind which I blocked most of, then he hit Lightning (main) and killed me off. And with that, he also killed my spirit :(
after wick whirl change to med med com then to relentless assualt/diversity. when he brings up his forcefield i change to med syn syn then to sab syn com, to tortoise when wicked whirl etcetc.

@koheikyouji I know this is been awhile since you posted. There's a technique to gaining a large amount of gil. One through killing tortoises or by following a grinding route just outside of eden. Look it up, money is your only concern. Afterwards, use 36 sturdy bones to get 3x multiplayer and buy ultracompact reactors
I won! I beat him. Without SHROUDS and TP using. I got 3 stars for 13 minutes of fight because my weapons are tier 3 MAX. By the way: Thanks. I got two trophies at once! Great!.

Amazing. Just watching this again is refreshing. So chaotic, yet you had to keep your focus to kill Vercingetorix. People complain about the new battle system. I loved it! If you showed this video to a friend who hasn't played this game, they wouldn't know what the fuck is going on cause so much is going on all at once. This is what made this battle system truly remarkable. cut-throat, strategic, fast, relentless. 5 star this battle and you pretty much feel like a god.
can i equip more that 1 Sylphid ring for more effect? I'm so pathetic at this final mission ! I have all the roles for all the players and to the maximum (with the help of Growth Egg) and 3 weapons at tier level 3, almost to the maximum and i still can't beat the asshole. @kanetidus Use the poison and tank strategy. Have Vanille as the party leader and have the following paradigms:
Van/
sab/sab/sab
sab/med/med
sen/sen/sen
med/syn/med
Use poison 5 times right at the start with #1. If it doesn't stick, switch to #2 and cast it 5 more times. Once it sticks, switch to 3 and just wait until he goes into trance. Once in trance, buff up with #4. Before he comes out of trance, switch back to #1 then rinse and repeat until he dies and you 5-star. (Takes about 7-10mins).
@IIRedReignII Sorry, the characters you use can pretty much be anybody who can dispel as a sab and someone who can haste, (not neccessary, but it REALLY REALLY HELPS) but it's probably best if you go with:
Van/Fang/Snow.
You want Vanille as the leader so you can cast poison right off the bat 5 times every time. Also, you can equip the belladonna wand for better chance of it sticking. With no stat boost and T1Lv1 weapons my target time was ~17mins. I finished in ~10:30 for a 5-star.

@Sevvy413 heh heh poison is the sap of ff13. its one of the best debuffs in the game. it gradually depletes the health of the enemy while in effect. To make things better poison causes a fixed amount of damage to the target making it useful against enemies with alot of health. thats why it shines when used against superbosses like the long gui and vercingetorix.
I REALY hope thay remove the doom clock thing these bosses cast on you in FFXIII-2. I remember the bosses that would sometimes take hours to beat. A prime example being Yazmat in FFXII.
The good thing about the 360 version is that when I finally got to this battle, I played FF XIII track "Will To Fight" in place of the normal music. Absolutely epic.
Hey, I have a quick and most likely irrelevant question. The scene at the end where Lightning says "It's over!". Does the scene change if you use a different leader?
@bensuiker I'm assuming you have the game when I explain this: For more advanced opponents waiting for the ATB Gauge to fill up for your Medics will often risk your Cure/Cura/Curaja's to be too late for your teammates. To solve this problem, instead of waiting for the ATB to fill to its max, you can press O/B to cancel the ATB-fill and to perform the already filled actions. Doing this makes for a much quicker heal especially when Vercinegetorix can wipe out most of your chars in one blow.
@OBNfull1000 Have you completed the game (killed Orphan)? Once you do that you unlock crystarium level 10 and your upgrades get so much better. Killing Cactuar Primes is a fairly easy way to get tons of CP, as long as you always have a Sentinel.

Why do you get a target time of 21? My target time is 15 and I can only do it in 10. I use crappy weapons and the Gold Watch and I use the same plan as you.

I wish square enix would design games like Fable. Square always over complicate their games with redicilous menue systems and I always spend more time fighting in the menue instead of watching the fight on the screen. Games like Fable are more enjoyable to me because I dont have to constantly access a menue system to fight. The ability to switch between mele, range, and magic is better in these western style rpgs, and the japanese need to catch up with the rest of the evolving rpg genre.
@zaxckee since FF13 is the 9th FF game that I've played, basicly i've ,"been there & done that." sooo.... after playing the FF rpg series more than any other rpg series that's out there, I think I deserve the right to be able to, "loosen up, or un-buckle the seat belt" a bit, and enjoy a battle system that not so overly complicated once in a while.

Since I don't have SAB on Lightning i'm using Vanille to spam Poison but she doesn´t have SEN yet. (let these two for last). And i tried this some times but Vanille won't survive the attack at 4:32. Anything I could do? (except go grind for exp which I'll need to do if i don't have any option
@bobbyleescott makes them more effective, gives sabs higher chance to land debuffs, gives sents higher damage mitigation, better healing to medic, ect
Sazh sucks as a Commando but Snow handled that: all 6 Paradigms i picked covered those weaknesses. against very strong enemies i like to have at least 1 other Medic with Curasa once they learn it to back up Vanille (or Hope) for even faster healing so that'll let me attack longer, also lets me use other Paradigams in ways i can't otherwise. i do like having Lighting & Fang this is the only battle i didn't use either, i just went with Snow over Fang this time b/c of his higher HP
Every video I've watched of this guy I've never seen anyone stagger him.. yet i staggered him probably 4 times during my battle.. which is probably why i beat him in 5 minutes

I REALY hope thay remove the doom clock thing these bosses cast on you in FFXIII-2. I remember the bosses that would sometimes take hours to beat. A prime example being Yazmat in FFXII.

@AdamantPonyGuy using 3 sentinels gives the party a massive defense boost. The boost works automatically so you don't have to guard for it to work.

@bensuiker I'm assuming you have the game when I explain this: For more advanced opponents waiting for the ATB Gauge to fill up for your Medics will often risk your Cure/Cura/Curaja's to be too late for your teammates. To solve this problem, instead of waiting for the ATB to fill to its max, you can press O/B to cancel the ATB-fill and to perform the already filled actions. Doing this makes for a much quicker heal especially when Vercinegetorix can wipe out most of your chars in one blow.

@OBNfull1000 Have you completed the game (killed Orphan)? Once you do that you unlock crystarium level 10 and your upgrades get so much better. Killing Cactuar Primes is a fairly easy way to get tons of CP, as long as you always have a Sentinel.

ummmm confused much.... and before you ask YES i am fighting the right monster. When i libra it it says the monster is immune to every single status ailment which means i can't poison him AT ALL!!! this guy is prooving a bitch to fight!! even mission 51 was a piece of cake. but this is crazy. everytime i almost get him staggered he heals himself the little bitch lol HELP PLEASE !!!!

@whitebunny170990 use these paradigms with the following people > lightning/hope/fang > relentless assault/diversity/tortoise/infiltration/rapid growth/salvation > use tortoise for wicked whirl then salvation for healing..start with infiltration..debuff his ass make sure poison is ACTIVE AT ALL TIMES > rapid growth is for reapplying buffs whe they wearoff/debuffed :L RA for damageing and diversity for healing while keeping chain going :) ..make seem weird but works redo misson with reward > 5*

FUCK CUNT ASS BITCH! I couldn't do it by myself without some help, but thought I could do it by myself. Now, I looked at this video and it's very fucking simple. Poison the fuck out of him using Sabatuer. I didn't even think about using that because I thought it wouldn't be affected. Now I don't feel like finishing the game because I sought the answer not using my brain. Now I feel stupid.

I wish square enix would design games like Fable. Square always over complicate their games with redicilous menue systems and I always spend more time fighting in the menue instead of watching the fight on the screen. Games like Fable are more enjoyable to me because I dont have to constantly access a menue system to fight. The ability to switch between mele, range, and magic is better in these western style rpgs, and the japanese need to catch up with the rest of the evolving rpg genre.

@zaxckee since FF13 is the 9th FF game that I've played, basicly i've ,"been there & done that." sooo.... after playing the FF rpg series more than any other rpg series that's out there, I think I deserve the right to be able to, "loosen up, or un-buckle the seat belt" a bit, and enjoy a battle system that not so overly complicated once in a while.

Since I don't have SAB on Lightning i'm using Vanille to spam Poison but she doesn´t have SEN yet. (let these two for last). And i tried this some times but Vanille won't survive the attack at 4:32. Anything I could do? (except go grind for exp which I'll need to do if i don't have any option

Sazh sucks as a Commando but Snow handled that: all 6 Paradigms i picked covered those weaknesses. against very strong enemies i like to have at least 1 other Medic with Curasa once they learn it to back up Vanille (or Hope) for even faster healing so that'll let me attack longer, also lets me use other Paradigams in ways i can't otherwise. i do like having Lighting & Fang this is the only battle i didn't use either, i just went with Snow over Fang this time b/c of his higher HP
