Hey! Nice Vid! I was thinking about getting one of these and I know NOTHING about ipods or Mp3's. And I was wondering where to download free music? Honestly I dont know nothing. Is beemp3.com a good website? Please respond!

Very, very nice review man! I will have to agree with you since I've been using this player for a year as well, and it never disappointed me! Today I also purchased a new peace of equipment form Sony (NWZ-A844) which is also a very good player, but not as good as this "old-school" one. New models seem to be a bit more squishy and made from softer and cheaper materials in my opinion (display is better though), but I haven't tested the sound quality yet, which is also important. Sony>iPod

I have the exact same mp3 as that. It's survived me dropping it in snow banks, me falling down the stairs and dropping it, I love this mp3 player, great audio quality. I've had mine for almost 3 years, and still around the same battery life, and quality. I actually have two of these a 4gb and an 8gb

What I'm looking for, and haven't yet found -- now that I understand that U just drag and drop the music into its memory -- is how to make an album subfolder with the album image, so you can have a list of those images. Then you'd click each one and either play through or select your song, natch.

So: how do you create an album, as opposed to an item-by-item list of songs, BEFORE you do the drag-n-drop thing?

I Have This In 4GB...2 Words...LOVE IT!...The Sound Quality Makes An Ass Out Of An iPod And I Like How You Can Edit Album Artwork Freely And Not Have To Have An iTunes Account As You Would If You Had An iPod

Wow all this time, and I couldnt figure that out. I was able to drag videos to walkman video folder, but it does not show up on the walkman... only plays on my computer while walkman plugged in ... but at lease I am part way there. I'll just keep at it ( not too computer literate )

Hi, thanks for watching.

I usually right click "My Computer" and the Walkman should show up as a separate hard drive. Then you can just drag and drop.

I had this same one. But today, Christmas, I got a new Sony MP3 Player ((it's amazing)). Thanks to this mp3 player, I only like Sony MP3s now. Haha. Screw you, iPod. But I had the mp3 being reviewed here for three years. And it went strong til a couple of months ago. I am a KLUTZ, and this sucker SURVIVED. It really is a great one.

i have the same exact one in red and ive always had troub;e charging it! i have bought already two usb cords to charge and nothing! it only charges when it wants to!!its really fusttrating! any advice of what i can do to charge it? i really like it but thats my only problem!

I know it's a hassle but you might want to try contacting sony customer service.

Start by emailing then follow up with calling their 800-number if you don't get a response then. Have the model number and possible your time of purchase handy to make things easier.

I have a Creative Zen player, its very nice and simple to use. Similar to this, I liked to be able to change the song with out taking it out of my pocket.

ANd now I have an iTouch that I got as a birthday present.

i have the same one and i have a ipod touch. i like the walkman better because all you do is drag and drop without having to synk you music and transfer perchases like the ipod and for video i use "FORMAT FACTORY" because you can convert and make the video fit on the walkman screen exakly because it has the walkman format and everything in the programe as well as ipod and other devices. good video someone actually likes the walkman!! ;)

that's 100% true, I bought an ipod 2 yrs ago, the sound is fucking crappy!,, no bass, no loudness, no quality!. I decided to change for a walkman then ,, It was like be in heaven listening to the Clear Bass and CUSTOM EQUALIZER!! .- with ipod you cant customize your equalizations and the presets of it are .. fuck.

Ok, i did it and the file went to ITunes. Like it always did with the other damn files I tried. I can't put files from ITune onto my Walkman. What am I doing wrong? I'm getting so frustrated!

Can someone PLEASE tell me how I put videos on it? Which programs to use to convert the files and step by step walkthrough. I've been trying for hours to put two videos on my MP3 player and yet I cant. Someone please help!

The Walkman will only play .mp4 video files (the same files for an ipod).

Google "Free YouTube to Ipod and PSP Converter"

Download the program and then convert the video to ipod mp4 format (NOT psp mp4). They should play in the Walkman then.
