seriously.. they are a waste of money. They work at first, but if u dnt continue to wear them forever, your gap will come back. trust me.. i've used them. They say it will dissapear within a month or two.. and it will. but if u dont wear them 24-7 it will come back.. nothing more embarrassing then not having a gap in the morning and by mid-afternoon having one. Also, the bands slide really easy.. snapping off and cutting your gums! dont buy!

@britnielynnx3 I rather wear the bands than braces seriously is less painful i believe. one my gap closes i will continue to use the retaining bands. it does hurt at first but the it doesn't. I recommend wearing the bands away from the gum so that it wont hurt the gums.

they are pretty much just elastic bands like the ones that are used on braces. i had braces for years and didnt wear my retainer and the gap came back. i just used elastics to close it again

Believe or not....I know someone who closed their gap with a regular small rubber band. His teeth looked great too. Have no idea how long it took and can't ask because they are no longer around.

please help im on orthofill all my other teeth are straight just my two front ones are 2mm apart now im using it just how it says only taking them off to eat but now my front teeth are fine i have 2 more new gaps that are not going away please please help should i put them along the front 4 teeth ? what did you do?

@MobYardieKrew yeahhh unfortunately it's not permanent :/ i looked more into, and if you look up (backtodecember13) she did a video blog about this on youtube, she mentioned how within the day, like in-between, her gap came back :( blah.

When you put on band on your teeth did it go straight up to the top of the gum line?

How long did it take your overall?

My gap moved within a week or so, and yes it went to the gum line :( and it took me a month!
