Love this game! I have the Saturn import one, I made a video of it last night but gotta wait til my PC is fixed to upload it. I'll post a video response to this once I do.
Nope, there's two, Super Nova is the other one (US name Super Nova, Japanese name Darius Force) on the SNES, Force blows Twin away in the fun department. And since neither were arcade titles, no chance of a TL3 release (though the Wii VC could always get them).
Dude, this reminds me of Bubble Bobble and The New Zealand Story! Only crossed over with each other...man, if Sega makes Taito Legends 3, this better be on it!
It's on Taito Legends 2, brought to the US by Destineer, save TL 3 for the rest of the Taito Memories games we didn't get on the first two Legends (ooh like Bubble Symphony, Bubble Memories, Rainbow Islands Extra, Darius 2, and other games). ;)
TL3, here's the games I'd like to see. Bubble Bobble 2, G Darius, Bust-a-Move Again, and maybe this one...my personal favorite racer next to Continental Circus...DOUBLE AXLE!!! ^__^
Don't forget to put Chase HQ, Super Chase, SkyShark and the other shooters they released...I don't know if Truxton, Twin Cobra or Tiger Heli count...I hope they do.
Truxton and Twin Cobra were Toaplan, I doubt Taito has any rights to the Toaplan games (I believe Banpresto has some, Namco/Bandai others), it would be nice, but Taito only distributed them for the arcades for Toaplan.
I wanted to play this game ever since I had a commodore amiga and I finally got to have it about 10 years later when I got a PC and MAME to emulate this.
Yeah, I can't believe the prices these days. I remember buying the arcade and Saturn versions before eBay demand drove up prices. I bought the arcade board for only $50, and the Saturn disc for $35. I just looked up the Saturn version, and it costs 120-300 freakin' dollars!! That's just not right.
I love the music, too! The Liquid Kids soundtrack was the second one I ever bought (after Bubble Symphony's).
where I can play this online mode?

Yeah, a friend of mine managed to grab me one for just under $100, the worst I've seen is near $200 for a copy.

Bust A Move Again was on the US Taito Legends 2, it's soulless with none of the trademark Taito characters in it, just a hand and a wheel.

Also forgot to mention the PS 2 TL 2 in the UK and the US got G-Darius.

Man, TL2 didn't sound like a winner then because of that. Give the other titles may have been good, Bust A Move isn't the same without Bub and Bob.
One title I forgot to mention would be good on TL3...Darius Twin. (The only home game of the Darius series, being on SNES.)
